I adore you all and am going to write all these down and sit down the crazy man this weekend to try and figure something out :)

Obviously, next one has to be a girl.  We're plum out of boy names.

I kinda like Roman Kai, though I think Kai Roman Allen sounds better. Oh and I adore Nathanial, I would have absolutely jumped on that one and held him to it ;)

Isn't Odin the god of war or something?

I'm sure you will both eventually come up with something you both love, you did well with Koda and Tristen!

It's funny how our naming conversations go.

Him: suggests a name

Me: no. when your hips separate, you get to name it.

Try that.

Alison, I have a feeling no matter what we pick it is going to give you and Leah a little bit of a tic ;)

Currently in the lead, but I'm not sure I love it

Roman Kai

All of a sudden he is on a roll about wanting to talk about names, and wore me out.

He LOVES the name Odin.  I'm not there.

Oh, he also really liked Mariner, whoever came up with that one.

And in the hysterical moment of the night, after giving me about 50 names that I would NEVER name a child, he says "add Nathanial to the list as a low maybe".  Me:  "You like Granite (not kiddding), Brutus, and NATHANIAL?  How original of you.

there is a little boy in bennett's class named odin.

ftr - i love roman.

Considering his other suggestions. I would jump on roman and run with it.

LOL. As long as you don't take an unusual name and spell it kre8tivly, we're all good. ;) Like, don't spell it Ro'myn.

(I actually like the name Roman BTW!)

I just shudder at people naming their children Kal-el after Superman. Because that's seriously wack.

Regardless, I'm going to love your little baby boy, even if his name is Granite. :)

I really like Kai actually. My friend's husband is Kai (not sure if that is shortened from a longer name) and I think it is really nice.

Do you think it's a negotiating tactic? It would be effective for me.

I love Silas, btw. And Jude (always have).

I'm not helpful.

Friend of a friend just posted on face book about her two cousins Blaze (boy) and Azure (girl). I kinda like them both! I think Blaze Allen would be great.

I promised myself I would pick up for the babysitter during the 10am hour, so I should go.  Boo.  I love how Travis knew I was staying home, so he left without helping pick up.  Adore him, but geesh.
