not 2 syllables ... but the oddest names I've heard of:

dan's great grandpa's name was Castleman

my grandpa's middle name was Magellan

i friend of mine - her great grandpa's name was Christov - he went by, no joke ... Christ.

here are a couple more:

Abel

Campbell

Quentin (nn Quinn)

Tucker

I put your last name into this:
http://www.babynamegenie.com/baby-name-generator/

and it came back with Warren Sebastian Allen

And I think Sebastian may just be the perfect name for you guys.

That Genie is a genius. ;)

Josie loves him (he's 18 months) and I'm convinced that is why she wants a brother. she wants finnian.

 huh.

good point.

but i think tristen allen sounds good.

maybe b/c it sounds more like -in?

idk.

maybe i need to rethink my theory.  ;)

I thought about Tristen too and I think part of it is that hard T sound in the middle. I thought of my kids when you said that and I do think Owen Allen, Gavin Allen (I also think of Ethan Allen) are all rhymy and I don't hear Tristen as being rhymy like that.

I was going to suggest Finnian too but its three syllables. Finley is two but a little more girly. But Hey that was really my first choice for scott.
