Today in the store, there was a chutes and ladders game that are pixar characters for $5.  Tristen carries it around the whole store going on and on about how much better it is than our Chutes and Ladders (in fairness, we dont' even have a spinner for ours anymore, we use slips of paper lol).

An hour later, of course I bought the damn thing when he wasn't looking.

Remind me how ridiculously weak I am when I wonder how so many presents ended up under my tree.  Was it on the list?  Not at all.  Is it now stuffed in my closet?  Of course.

 I do that kind of thing too.  Sneak things into the cart that they admired in the store.  Usually after I said I was done.  Also dh doesn't like to talk about presents too early so usually I am all done, then I sneak a few extras in, then when he is finally ready to talk about it he will have some really good ideas that I would never have thought of, that they would really really love and play with.  So then we end up getting what he said and then when all is said and done I am sat there wondering why they got so much stuff and swearing I won't do it again. 

This is why this year I am not getting them one single thing (apart from the books that I am addicted to buying) until about a week before then I won't accumulate things.
