mikey is really into building things. he loves these OLD robotix toys (they were dan's from the early 80's) and legos - my sil got him an erector set and he's really getting into that too. and he's also really into drawing. he always draws robots or machines.

he is HUGE into electronics. i wish he wasn't but after having to keep him still/quiet for 8-10 hours a day for 4 years of chemo we used what we had. SO ... i think we're leaning toward a leap pad explorer for his big present.

caroline is still all about stuffed animals. she has a million but it's really all she plays with ever.

i know - i totally cant accumulate stuffed animals anymore! she's actually not THAT into them  -- we're down to one big bin of them. thank god. she lets them go pretty easily.

She sound just like Allie. This is what I have so far.

Razor scooter- she wanted this
My generation horse for her AG doll
Paul frank alarm clock

Going to get her:
Easy bake oven( she would love this/me not so much
Hair accessories
Book set - Michele recommended these fairy books
Music- cd at this point, but like the iPod idea? Not sure
Toying with a DS, but on the fence with this- she wants one, by she is not a big gamer

That is all I have. She seems to be at a strange stage with toys. She wants some dvd's and little toy things like squinted and that. However, not big toy request. I am kind of at a loss.

I think i know those fairy books - the magic fairy series? rachel wont read them because there's a main fairy named rachel (eyeroll - she still has major hangups abt her name).  i'm going to get her sets of books definitely.   easy bake oven = great idea!

Kelly, do your girls do a list for Santa?

Ethan and Noah did theirs the other night.

Ethan wants three more fish so he'll get those plus a bigger tank. Plus a host of boy toys (beyblades, star wars stuff). He also loves board games so we are going to get twister and monopoly jr.

Noah wants a bunch of boy toys (power rangers, beyblades, star wars stuff). Plus a tv, computer and phone that he will not be getting.

I love the view finder idea. I wonder if they would like the doodle bears too. they love coloring.

LMAO Erin!  I acted like a freak over that damn toy. I think I scarred my kids for life over it.   I literrally threw it out the door outside and made it an outside toy.  Not my best mommy moment.  I think the people at Playdoh are just trying to eff with us when they design most of these toys. And yet we keep coming back for more, lol!

It's really hard because they still play with toys but not anything that I need to buy more of. They love their lego stuff, knex and any kind of building thing.

Also - gavin wants a doodlebear too. he loves drawing and coloring and really wanted one. I saw something similar in the target ad -- inkoos or something like that. I think I am going to do that instead since it is $15.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Meghan is getting over Star Wars! Crazy.

Her new things are Bakugans and Pokemon. She just learned to play the card game and Mike and I leaned so we can play with her too. I actually love that she is into the card game because it is helping with her reading (text on the cards) and math. Plus, it's a social game.

Abby loved Dora but she's starting to love the princesses. already. :( She is growing up waaaaay too fast for me!

Yeah, this. I haven't even considered Playdoh again soince dealing with that icecream set. Even after I got Meg to start remembering to clean it up before putting it away, her friends who came over for a playdate didn't. Grrrr...

lmao. remind me to never have you playdoh haters over to my house...you would need therapy for sure. we have a three drawer dresser of playdoh accessories in the dining room with the icecream machine right on top because we use it so much!

Lego blocks

drawing and/or writing stories

playing Lego Harry Potter over and over and over and over (even though he beat it months ago)

I am a playdoh hater.... although Lucas loves the stuff. I never buy it! Every once in a while he will bring a tiny tub home from a birthday party or school prize box and he plays with it constantly and when he forgets and leaves it out and it dries up I happily toss it out.
