As someone who is constantly harassed/talked down too for having "so many babies" I say good for her. I am sure there will be bedrest after the last baby, but this is pretty far apart for them so her body should be in good physical shape.
IDK. I think they are a great family, but their 19th baby had such a hard beginning and she had such a rough pregnancy...I think that they probably would have been better served to stop. I know they are very controversial, so I know there are a lot of opinions about this! I just think that with her age and history, this one is higher risk than I would have been willing to undertake.
IDT you have too many babies!!! I think people get on you when you have them so close together. Yours are closer than mine, and I remember all of the flack I got for Anna and Kate being so close in age. Everyone assumed it was the whole Catholic thing, when really that had nothing to do with it. 4 kids is NOT excessive!!!

The silly american people are making them millionaires from whoring themselves out for reality tv- better to milk their 15 min as long as possible i guess. I hear them called change of life babys when your releasing more eggs as you get closer to menopause.

As far as health goes, I think its not up to us. Laura some might have said with your issues you shouldnt have had megan, or allison with mason shouldnt have had her next baby but you love them and your familys are happy.

My point is that they are minor children. Their home should be their sanctuary, a place where they are free to be children, to be happy to be sad, to be good, to be naughty- all without a filmcrew filming.
Snooki is an adult of age. She can make her own choice. And if people are stupid anough to watch her and make her a millionaire, great for her!
I feel at minor chidren should be protected and permitted the innocence of childhood.
I cringed when people and even her mom, kate gosselin, was calling one of the twins horrible names. She was absolutely violated. again, i dont care at all that its the duggars or how many kids they have- i feel strongly about this for ANY minor child on a reality show.
Also, while yes women can naturally conceive after 40, the odds are less than 1%. egg quality drops off significantly at around 38, then again at 43. I experienced a lot of this since cate was an ivf baby born when i was 41, and saw my own fsh levels plummet over a 9 month period. Of course my comment about the possibility of her having ivf was sarcastical, by the way

Oh no offense! I do feel strongly about reality tv for sure! I struggle with what s happening to us as a civilisation- and reality tv is such an interesting thing. People like kim kardashian can be famous for nothing. I dont watch the shows, but it looks like reality tv tends to ruin people more than the good of the money.
Reflecting on child actors- how many of the famous ones die an early death, drugs, probs with the law. My heart just aches for the duggars and the gosselins- i just dont think the parents reslise what harm they could be causing their children. Is the money worth it?
Thats why the "socialist" in me thinks there should be laws protecting minor children. And also, being so disturbed by the recent penn state pedophile issue, i remember that corey haim was raped, and goodness knows how many other child stars abused- and i read recently a cameraman working for tlc who worked on the gosselins show got caught with child pornography... Who is protecting these children???

I lie along the same lines as you, Megan. I'm not a terrific fan of reality shows that pimp out the children and the controversy of raising a family under some extraordinary circumstance..I don't like them period b/c I feel like the premises are fake. I saw the upcoming previews for the next season of the Duggars and I wondered if they would have taken these trips w/o TLC bankrolling them? I think even on the last episode of Kate Plus 8, she was talking about how the producers would sit down with them and discuss what they could do next on the show...That's hardly reality.
As for when should a woman stop having kids- when it jeopardizes her health, the health of the child, or she simply can't afford another child. After this last pregnancy with Adelaide, I'm not having anymore. Its not worth it to me to put my health in risk to the point where I can't provide for them. That's my limit. Your limit is up to you but I think it draws talk when it seems like the act of conception wasn't really thought out well and the parents can't adequately provide for the children being born w/o some extraordinary means there to provide the income (i.e. television shows)..In the case of the Duggars, I wonder how she manages to spend time with each of her 19 children individually. Its hard with two or three...How can you effectively manage 19?
I feel the same way, Megan. I could care less what people do in their family, but filming children groaning up in television just for our entertainment is sick. To say they are financially well. Do we really put a price tag on happiness? The thing is, those kids have no say or choice. They cannot take it back. If you look back at most children whom were child actors or on tv at a young age. None that I have heard said it was a good experience. It is all fake and staged.
