Dont beat yourself up over it.  We had some trial and errors at the beginning as well and investing a chunk of $$ but is so worth it.

We use wordpress.org and prophoto for photo/blog it's merged into wordpress.org (not .com)

In fact we are still revamping our blog we had to start all over again because our original web designer screwed us over so we found someone else to do a blog for us instead and we're just going to mess with the website later since we never really use it.  Primarily we use blog and facebook alot.  Again, things have been on hold for a while right now anyways so my site is not quite complete as it is. =)

If you want to start out cheap you can always start with wordpress.com or blogger.com then later you can transfer all data to whatever one you invest into later.

Thanks, Tiffany.  I am going to start a blog and try not to worry about the website for now.  I will redo it once my current one runs out, but it should be fine for now.

I'm not making much money, as I literally just had my first few paying customers, but I'm planning to invest the money that I make back into those things.

Either way, I am so thankful to be able to do this.  I just really do LOVE photographing people and it really makes me happy.  I'm just hoping I can turn it in to something that I can make money doing.

Hey Crystal!

Our blog is for photogs and it's only $15 a month. It's through Foto Journal. Blogs help your search engine rating a lot! Much more than your website. Take a peek at ours if you want. It's super easy!!

Also, our website is through Photobiz. Love, love, love them! The initial investment is a few hundred dollars, but really much less than a custom build!

Stacy, your website and blog are gorgeous!  I wish I would've known about photobiz before I created mine, but I guess maybe I will try that when this one expires.  I am not happy with quite a few things and I feel like I can't customize it as much as I would like.

Aw, thanks!  It's one of those live and learn things.  We've spent good money on lots of things we had to have and then realized, not so much!
