hi girls.

i know we've talked about this before, but here we go again.

who has used it? pros/cons?  what specific equipment do i need to buy?  i know a pull-up bar but i don't know what else.

i'm thinking about getting the dvds on craigslist.

emily and jake are home with me all day and matt is at work from 7:45 until 6pm (at least) every day.   i'm finding it challenging right now to get to the gym and i'm thinking this would be something good to use at home.

tia!

(btw, i'm looking at paying $50 for a complete set on CL)

Christy did it and loved it. Rich has it and does it. He has pull up bar, bands and I think that is all drhe require. It is intense.

We have been doing it for about 8 months now. We love it!!

You will need a pull up bar and either weights or a band. We have the weights. They have the adjustable weights on sale at Target for $42.

It is a lot of weight training and not heavy on cardio. You do cardio on Tuesday and Saturday. Because of this, I also run on the treadmill, since I need more cardio.

The only other con for me is the time requirement. Most workouts are approx. 1 hour long, plus the ab work is another 16 minutes. We get up earlier in the morning to fit it in.

I hope this helps some. Let me know if you have any questions!

I definitely think the time commitment would be a con especially knowing your schedule.

What about doing the 30 day shred instead and then p90x when you are done with that? Maybe after the kids are back in school?
