April, thanks so much for asking. She is doing okay. I actually hung out with her for a bit last night. Had some wine and just chatted. We laughed and cried, but she seems to be holding it together for the most part.
I was glad to see at she got her hair done earlier this week. And her boys activites are keeping her busy and getting her out of the house. She also added a day to her work week (she works part time). She has a little money from her husband's small insurance policy and has started collecting social security money for the boys, but money is still going to be tight without his income.
She said that she is so up and down with emotions, sad one minute, angry the next. She cries a lot, and her younger son gets upset when she is upset, so that is rough. But she has a strong support network of people helping her get through. I can't even imagine how hard it would be for her without family and friends around.
I will let her know that I have friends from the "internets" thinking about her!
