I have just been gifted a huge assortment of the All Clad stainless steel cookware (the D5 series if that helps)... I'm curious to see if anybody else has it and how you clean/care for it. It says to use a powder soap and make a paste to clean it but I'm not sure I've ever seen what they are talking about or if there is something different and better used by others with the same cookware I have.

i use regular dishsoap on that day to day.

when they get some burn marks on them, i use barkeepers friend, which is what everyone i know who has them uses. it works like a miracle.

Oh, I love Barkeepers Friend! Excellent to know its perfectly fine for the All Clad!

I figured of all people, you would be the one to know! Just a hunch!

Thank you. My grandmother figured since my grandfather was close to retiring, she'd get all new cookware and figured we needed it too. Which we did! I just got my KitchenAid mixer today and am drooling over it! I have wanted one for so long!

Thanks!
