Has anybody seen Rango? What did you think?

Is it suitable for 4-5 yrs old? The boys have been asking about it and wanting to see it.

I havent seen it. However a friend of mine did and found it inappropriate. Her husband didnt, but then came home the next day saying how some of his coworkers thought it was inappropriate as well.

Hopefully someone here has seen it and can give you better info about it.

We saw it. I thought it was fine but I've heard the same thing--that is was inappropriate. A few people commented on the language but honestly Ethan hears worse from me. Not that I'm proud of that but it is what it is.

(there wasn't any actual curses. at least not that I heard.)

not scary. at least we didn't think so.

voilent. um, do they watch super heroes? then no. I mean there were some guns and things of that nature (it is a western) but not worse than spiderman or batman or most of the other "boy" cartoons out there, imo.

I'll also be honest--I was having a bad day (that was part of why we went) so there were parts when I was zoned out trying to convince myself I could get through the rest of the day without killing someone.

Still I think I would have noticed if it was bad. I mean I was there and mostly paying attention.

thank you so much

yeah, they like to watch spider-man

if anything, I'll probably be the one freaked out by the realistic looking snake :)

We saw it last week.  Joe and I both loved it.  Didn't think it was inappropriate at all.  (wracking my brain trying to think of which part could have been considered that)

I took the girls to see it (3 and 5).  Honestly, I didn't like it.  I don't remember specifically anything that was too inappropriate, but I thought it was boring.  At one point I think Rango says, "What the hell?!"  or something like that - but that's the only language issues I remember.  I wish I'd seen Gnomeo and Juliet instead...

Jo - we saw it. The snake was scary - at least my Jake thought so and he was nervous come bedtime that night because he couldn't stop thinking about it.

There is alot of guns and a big shoot out at the end that did make me a tad uncomfortable for the kids to see.
