Do your kids use bathroom words all the time? Thinking that they're hilarious? Is it just a boy thing? Is it just a Mark thing? Curious.

Anytime we're laughing and joking, Mark will throw in some comment about poop, or pee, or a butt. Of course he thinks it's hysterical. I'm not as amused.

We have that here too. Not a ton and mostly owen but they definitely find it funny. Farts are the funniest, of course. But I have to admit farts make me laugh too so it's hard to discipline that. I guess I really was born to be a boy mom. ;)

Anna has a bit of a potty mouth too. She hangs around with a lot of boys at school, I know, and it seems they all have potty mouths like that. She isn't horrible with it, but it does come up a lot. I hate it. I don't make a huge deal of it-but I do tell her she is being inappropriate. (except I don't actually say that because then her response is "What does inappropriate mean?")

lmao - we're the same way about farts here.  totally crack up, myself included.  i'm not raising the most proper ladies in that respect (they do know not to do it out of the house though).

they're learning a lot of poop stuff from certain kids at school and i try to ignore it. i know where it's coming from bc i've seen it on playdates. i just tell my kids it's not polite, and it's enough.

Good to know I'm not the only one. I can't help it, I think it's funny. My boys keep it in the house too, so that's good. :)

here too. I also randomly say poopy to get a laugh. I'm worse with the boys than Dustin.

We have a no-poop joke rule here.  It is funny to hear them correct each other.

"blah-blah-blah....POOP"

"That's not funny, Tristen.  No poop jokes".

Count me in on the list of people that will laugh about a fart. (but not anything having to do with a burp. blech.)

Hannah thinks it's hilarious, but I do see it more in her little boy friends - one of them will change the words to any song to include either poop or booty for every other word. It's pretty common, so we just ignore it. (Or, I should say his mom ignores it. I laugh. I'm a horrible friend, lol.)

I so wish it was only potty talk. Andrew still wants us to wipe! He's 5 and 1/2! How long do I have to keep wiping this kids' bottom?

Poop, fart, burp, & pee are common here too! Nathan and his buddy next door are ALWAYS incorporating in into something!

I think it is an age thing for sure. I think it started last year when Lucas started school. So glad he's grown out of calling people poopyheads!!! He doesn't really say it at home that much because it is just him but if he has little guy friends over I will catch them saying things and they all think it is so funny.

Oh he does love to run into a room and yell "dad I farted on you" he then dies in fits of laughter.

He also came home singing the whole "jingle bells batman smells....." and he thought he had discovered something REALLY cool. Totally suprised him when he found out I knew all the words from when I was a kid.
