I like the look of the rug under the table, but do you find the kids drop food on it? Is it hard to keep clean? When you pull the chair out to sit and the front legs are on the rug and the back legs aren't does it feel weird? I'm just curious. I have wood floors in the dining room and would love a rug.
i love rugs under dining tables. but i think that the legs are supposed to be on the rug when pulled out (does that make sense?) we had a rug under the table when ivy was a toddler that was the type that didn't show dirt (so, obviously, I would not get a light color or one that got dirty easy). right now, we have a jute rug that can stay moderately clean, but it doesn't hide dirt at all.
