I think Henry had a good eleventh birthday. After school, his friend John-David came over to play. He left about 5, then Glen got home, and Henry decided he wanted to go to Red Lobster for dinner. After dinner, we came home to presents and cake--french vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting. His favorite gift was the new Weird School Daze chapter book he's been wanting--Ms. Leakey is Freaky.

We celebrated at my parents' house on Saturday evening. My mom felt bad that she didn't have very much for Henry but really all he wanted was money so--my mom wrapped up a small bundle of one-dollar bills, then wrapped them again, then put them in a gift-bag, then wrapped that in a box, in a bigger box, in a bigger box, etc. Henry thought it was great fun opening that. He also got a big box of one-dollar bills in another present. Plus a Malco (movie theater) gift card and a Wii game. He requested pound cake with vanilla sauce for dessert there. And we had pizza for dinner.

Robin, you have one handsome guy there! Henry looks like he had a great time. Your little guy is looking pretty good too. I can certainly see why you love those boys.
