I'm trying not to go overboard because I have a tendency to do that with Easter.

Last year my kids told me that they only get candy in their Easter baskets even though they've NEVER just gotten candy in their Easter baskets.

I've gotten a small stuffed something (forget what) for Mark and some little squishy spiky ball animals for each of the kids.

I also got Mark a picture book, and I'd like to find a book for Henry.

Maybe I'll get "Tangled" for Henry.

I just looked, and it comes out on March 29th.

Aside from the stuffed animal, book, and squishies, they're getting candy.

ETA: I'd like to find something that is stuffed-ish for Henry but he's too old for most things like that. He's even gotten too old for Webkinz. Boo.

I always just do candy and then something small like a bucket and shovel, bubbles, or playground ball. Basically something that's for outside.

my kids have been saving their quarters for a larger-sized ugly doll (they'll never save enough) so i think the easter bunny will help them out there, along with marker sets, a book each, and some candy.

I am thinking about doing those small pillow pets. They wanted one and I really don't want to fill their baskets with a bunch of little junky toys. We already have too many bubbles, chalk, etc...things that I would put in there but we just don't need. I think I am going to find them a nice summer hat (most of their hats don't fit their huge heads anymore) and some sunglasses that aren't the small ones because those are pretty small for them too.

I usually just do candy, but since I got some toys at target this past january (the 75% off clearance), I will have some toys to put in there. I got a horse set and a stable and probably a barbie doll.

So far we've got pillow pet peewees, jump rope for Hannah, some type of little grow things you put in water? Little light up things, I just saw that Tangled comes out before Easter so we will probably try to get her to hold off when it comes out so I can put it in her basket, cars for Bryson, one of my fav things I have found for B is tonka shaped containers for treats :) Hello Kitty highlighters, I really liked Joann's selection of goodies. I haven't been to Target yet to look at their Easter stuff, maybe tomorrow.

No candy in ours- well MAYBE a pack of peeps- we just learned they are peanut safe and red 40 free!

The bulk of their buckets will be filled with duplo legos.  We've been stashing them away as we find them at thrift stores, etc through the year.  (so, think instead of the grass- it will be legos).

On top of Tristen's will be a Thomas Easter train (thanks for the heads up Melissa!)

No sure what will be on top of Koda's yet, but something comparable to that.  Actually, I have to buy Koda a baseball glove anyways for rec baseball this summer- so maybe that!

We also have a few things from the Target aisle land clearance like the large bouncy balls filled with water and glitter, etc.

I like the idea of Sunglasses, Juni.  Maybe that.  I don't know though- they just lose and break them.

For our egg hunt, we are putting a coin in each egg for their piggy banks.

we do not do tons of candy, but some. This year the girls need new rain gear, so I am getting them both rain boots and coats, sunglasse and Allie tangled movie and Mia something else. That is about it.

Be shocked that I go crazy.

But be legitimately surprised that I don't have have anything in my possession at this point.

I have Tangled on pre-order and I just ordered her a Scentsy stuffed animal in one of her favorite scents. I pre-ordered Megamind a few weeks ago, but caved and gave it to her already because I'm a sucker.

She'll get quite a bit of candy and beef jerky since it's her favorite snack, and other than that, I'm planning on getting her some new MLP stuff (a few of her very favorite ponies, plus Princess Celestia, which she's been begging for for MONTHS), chalk, a skin for her ipod, and for my old laptop that is being transferred to her, which she'll probably not recognize as being my old one, and I will not be telling her that is, lol. Oh, and she got a new jewelry box that has a spot for rings, so she's been pining away for a pretty ring to wear and put in the box, so I'm watching for something adorable. That's the only real stuff in plan at this point.

lol, I usually go bananas with little stuff. I just got a new laptop from my school, so it's more of a timing thing because I can't hide anything. It's too much anticipation. But yeah, it's a very large basket, lol.

an ugly doll is one of those stuffed animals that look like little monsters - my kids love them...there are tons of them - http://www.amazon.com/Ugly-Dolls-10171-UglyDoll®-12-Inch/dp/B000N256XG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1300748558&sr=8-3
