all done, mostly. i have to touch up the paint in a few spots and i think she wants some hello kitty pics in there (i'd have to swap out something else) and i have to hang the mirror - plus i need a nicer curtain rod and i have to do the curtain tie-backs, but otherwise, done.
It's all the same stuff that had been in R's room - C loved it all and wanted it, and R was over all of it.
R's room is next. we have the bed and bedding already - just have to paint. stay tuned ;)
one of these days i'll get to my own room, right??

Isn't it great to get that done?! I'm so with you on my own room. It's a mish-mash of everything. Someday I will have grown up furniture!!
same here - it's been the low priority for the last 10 yrs. ug. we have mismatched bedding, a rug that makes no sense, no headboard, a ridiculously large armoire, and a random chair (with no desk) that is "my office" - lol.
every time i get a west elm catalog i get inspired, and then the reality hits.
