When I got pregnant with Lucas it was a TOTAL suprise, we were not trying. So this whole TRYING to get pregnant on purpose is a little strange to me. I know it is too early to POAS (and besides I already did that, negative) So how soon after conception do you actually start having symptoms?
So this past week was the week for us to do the deed. Every since Friday I've been feeling nauseous and it always seems like it happens in the evenings. My boobs also hurt and I have been tearing up all night watching the stupid super bowl commercials and half time show.
I know I could just be reading too much into everything also...
Not until after implantation- which varies from day 7-ish to 11-ish, though some say they feel symptoms earlier. You can get a BFP with an early detection HPT usually 2 days after implantation. good luck!
good luck, kari! i was so excited to get the chance to actually try to conceive since mason was also a surprise. now, i wish i could just have another surprise because actually trying is stressful! the worst part is waiting to find out if it worked or not. i wish i could just not think about it and then accidentally remember that i need to take a preg test.

I think it is different for everyone. I know that it is really only after implantation that the real fun symptoms begin. But I also know plenty of women how had different things going on that clued them in that something was different. I don't get nausea or anything like that early on-in fact I didn't have anything early on with Kate or this one, aside from a bit of implantation spotting and extra CM. But with Anna, my boobs hurt from very early on, I was very crampy for days on end, and started having to pee a lot before I knew I was pg as well. So you never know! Unfortunately, the same signs of pg can be signs of AF.
I POAS at 11dpo. I know people who do it earlier than that, but 11dpo was early for me to test. I usually wait until AF is due. But I got definite positives at 11dpo-and that was at the end of the day, not with FMU.
Good luck!!!! (and Crystal-I agree. The surprise was easier, lol. Trying is stressful!!!)
Thanks! I am trying to wait until next week to test. My boobs are still hurting some but that is about it. I don't know if I can take this whole trying thing every month. I feel like a crazy person keeping track of days, popping pills, and having set days we have to do the deed. Sorry if I sound whiney. Next month I am totally using an OPK.
