We just did this, but I saw someone else's so we may swipe it.
One of my gf's did a gumball machine with 100 craft pom poms as the gumballs. Super cute.
Like a picture of a gumball machine on posterboard?
Kyle's class missed the 100th day so they're going to celebrate the 110th day. As if 100 things wasn't already enough! At least it's just 10 more, lol.

Yep, here's a picture...
I'm going to pocket it for next year since Hannah's is already done and she worked (really) hard on it and is super proud.
Hannah's is her name 10 times in Cricut letters, because there are 10 letters in her first and last name. Talk about taking the easy road. Shameful.

Omg Leah that is ADORABLE! I'm so sad that they didn't do anything for the 100th day :( jillian came home w a worksheet where she drew "I wish I had 100 m&m's" lol but that's it. My only complaint about the charter they are in is it seems they don't do as many "fun" things like that, or field trips. I shouldn't conplain because she's learning so much lmao and she does really have fun. I'm so pathetic lol!
Ryan did it at his old school and did 100 legos/ army men and made it into a fortress lol.
i love this thread. we just got our 100th day assignment yesterday and i'm like "oooo i think MS has a thread on this" - love it!
i adore the gumball machine. that came out AWESOME. a big part of ours is the number-grouping-counting thing, so i guess i'd have to do colored balls in group of ten.
i am also liking melissa's ice cream cone idea. i was considering a flower garden too (4 flowers, five petals each, 5 balls in each petal...or two flowers and get the leaves involved too) --
also thinking of umbrellas (multicolored, maybe 4 sections each, 5 balls per section, some blue rain clouds - i could probably get most bang for my buck with that, as there are many combos for grouping).
or, maybe a caterpillar? (most simple).
i was also thinking, bc R is in a rapunzel stage, of decorating the big long tower with all kinds of objects in groups of ten....or doing a princess and the pea bed with ten mattresses, ten objects per mattress.
so many options -- loving this assignment :)
(i need to not be a control freak abotu it though - LOL)
Lucas' 100th day is tomorrow. He just has to bring in 100 items that are the same... so I went to the dollar store and found a pack of 125 googly eyes and had him seperate out 100.
