hey girls!

i made this last night and i really liked it!  i used dried herbs (b/c i'm too cheap to buy fresh unless it's a special occassion :P) and i thought i had panko, but didn't so i used regular bread crumbs.  i really liked it!

i love turkey meatloaf. i make jess seinfeld's a lot (i think we're all tired of it by now though).
tonight i made this colombian sweet potato and beef stew with apricots. sounds strange but it came out really nice (but i overcooked the beef in the browning stage).

i'm trying to cook more for the new year (especially for mike, bc he eats takeout almost every night).  i made tilapia last night and it was delicious.  and garlic chicken the night before. and steaks. i'm totally blowing myself away :)

Kelly, what do you guys like to eat? I may have some suggestions (and I may steal some of your recipes).

the kids, i dont even count anymore. they eat nothing, like nothing, will try nothing.
they eat chicken (plain), raw veggies, fruit, and cheese - that's pretty much it (and not so terrible i guess).

mike is a steak and potatoes guy - crock pot type stuff too - that's not my favorite kind of stuff though.

i like fish, rice, veggies, and anything italian.  i eat light and simple. i dont like anything fancy or heavy, and i dont like a lot of spices.  i barely eat meat either.
i do like chicken though, and pork chops, depending.
any suggestions are welcome :)
