keep an eye on amazon. they have had great prices on them. I think in stores they retail 30+, but amazon often runs them in the low 20 buck range.
We have the turtle and sea turtle and got our niece the ladybug. Don't get the sea turtle, the other two have many, many more stars! I've gotten them all on Amazon for under $20.

These are awesome. Holly still has the one we got her when she was 18 months old (the original turtle); Lance got the sea turtle around the same age (not as many stars, agreed, but the blue and green together kind of make up for it), and we just recently got Evie the ladybug one.
Anyone on the fence, definitely go for it when you can snag one. Two thumbs up; also good for travel/to make a new place not scary.
