Ryan has an ikea bed..not a bunk but one w a ladder to get up..just no bed underneath. Does that make sense? Lol

Anyways its awesome. Its gone through 2 moves and its 5 years old and still looks and functions awesome. He loves it.

I was looking at them on walmart.com the other day.

Just a thought. I cant remember the prices, but I remember thinking they looked more substantial than I had expected.

ETA: they have a lot of options for under $200, including Storkcraft brand.

i ended up looking there too and was really surprised. for $199, those ones look pretty decent and i like that they can be separated.
