Had this for dinner - FANTASTIC!

So, Doug has been cooking dinner for me all weekend for my birthday - SO nice. Tonight was just beyond good. SO good. It was spaghetti with broccoli and shrimp. Sounds simple but holy cow - it was beyond delicious. I have to share this recipe...

He forgot the parsley and you would have never known there was an ingredient missing. I can't rave enough about how good it was. The flavor was amazing - best meal I've had in a very long time. This is why we don't go out to eat - such a good home cooked meal!

Sounds delicious!!!! And how awesome is that that he has been cooking for you?!? YAY!!!! Happy Birthday to you!!!

Thanks for sharing that-sometimes I think the simplest recipes are the best ones, and that one looks super good.

(and I often leave parsley out or use less of it than called for. It is not a fave of mine anyway)

Doug gets major points for your birthday weekend. How nice to have him cook you dinner.

It was so nice - dinner cooked for me every night this weekend - and all really good! I've been slacking big time with the grocery shopping and dinner meals so it was SO nice to have some really good/thoughtful meals. It's been a low key but fantastic weekend. :)
