Speaking of Itunes.....

Is there a way to take a movie I have downloaded on Itunes and burn it to a dvd that I can watch on my tv?

I have a dvd burner on my computer and I have a blank dvd, but when I burn the movie on it, it's makes it a data dvd and it will only play on my computer.  Ugh!

I would love to be able to take these movies that I've paid for and watch them on my tv too.

As far as I know (and I don't know much on this subject), you'd need something like Apple TV.

There ARE programs to convert it. They are pricey and kind of in that weird not quite legal catagory.

Personally I think it is super gay if I paid for a movie that I cannot burn it for my own viewing pleasure. I stopped buying things on itunes because of it.

Apple tv. 99 bucks. You can stream all your iTunes stuff.

We have 3 in our home - one for each tv. We live them so much we converted all our DVDs to iTunes- we have about 400 movies, gosh knows how many tv shows and thousands of songs. We are cd / DVD free and love it! Plus great for downloading on the iPhones touch for travel and the kids.

Thanks girls!

I agree that is dumb that I can't watch the movies I paid for without buying something else. It's not like I got a discount by purchasing them on itunes.

I might look into something like apple tv some day, but not now. I have only had my blue ray player for about a year and am not anxious to spend more money.

stupid itunes
