No uniforms here either. We pick out clothes the night before. Usually I just ask Anna to pick out what she wants, but if she doesn't match (and she often doesn't), I make her switch. Or I will tell her that something isn't right for the weather.

With Kate, we pick out clothes too-she likes to have say, but I try to give her 2 choices and let her pick from that.

They both get dressed on their own in the mornings. We usually don't have battles aside from shoes. Kate always wants to wear the wrong types of shoes for wherever she is going.

yeah shoes is the only tricky part!! she always wants to pick out her shoes and they don't go with the outfit so i always have a hard time convincing her of this.

At my kids' school, there are no uniforms. Last year, they had a bit stricter dress policy--shirts were required to be tucked in, and if pants/shorts had belt loops, then a belt was required.

The new principal dropped those rules. Now they just have the common-sense clothing rules--no spaghetti straps, no belly-showing shirts, no foul language or symbols, shorts/skirts have to be longer than the fingertips when arms are straight down, no flip-flops.

I pick out my children's clothes. Henry doesn't care what he wears at all although he prefers elastic-waist shorts or jogging pants. This year, he probably won't mind jeans since he doesn't have to wear a belt. Mark has more of an opinion but he'll usually go with what I choose. And in kindergarten, they have certain "dress" days--like today was Red Day so he had to wear a red shirt. Friday is "M is for Mickey" Day so he's going to wear a shirt with Mickey Mouse on it. If/when Mark doesn't want to wear what I chose, he'll just go into his room and switch it. Fine by me.

No uniforms here either. I pick out Aubreys clothes the night before so when she gets up we don't play "what should I wear today" like we used to. She is big on dresses normally but I refuse to let her wear them to school, mostly because she has a hard time remembering to keep her legs together....and most of her dresses from the summer are too short now anyway.

I dress her in shorts and a t shirt usually. : )

Nicole, when I send Jillian in dresses, I put shorts underneath. I got these biker type shorts from target that are perfect.

No uniforms here. Jillian picks her outfit out in the morning, and I "approve" it or change it as needed. She enjoys picking out her outfits and so I let her. She picks hair styles out as well. :)

Uniforms here. Khaki pants, shirts, or skirts. Hunter green or white polos. The girls can wear plaid.

Easy peasy!!
