Hey there...it has been a while since I last updated. I have been stopping in once in a while, but mainly keeping up with some of you on FB. Things have been interesting here. We bought our house in Florida in June. I LOVE IT! Unfortunately, I have not been able to get a job here. I applied for about 30 positions this summer and have not had one call back. So, I am going to have to go back up to New York for the school year. DH had to work all summer so he stayed up in NY. This has been hard. I don't know of you ladies with traveling DHs do it!
Madi turned 5 on July 30 and I actually started her in Kinder here in Fl. It was a really hard decision. If I didn't start her and then got a job, she would have missed the beginning of school. On the other hand, if I did start her then I risk having to take her out to go back to NY. She loves it here and has told me many times that she does not want to go back. She has turned out to be such a sassy little thing and five is proving to be a very difficult age.
Nathan turned 3 on June 17. He is such a funny little guy. He is so big.
Oh... I finally learned how to drive...lol That was a really big accomplishment for me!
Hope all is well. I am going to try to stop in more often because I miss everyone so much!
But I'm glad you guys are doing well, and that you are loving Florida - what an exciting change of pace for you. I can't wait until you all get to settle down there together.
I am glad you like Florida! It is hard to find a good job down there, at least that was my experience. I hope something fantastic opens up for you soon. What area of Florida are you in?
Hello. I had baby Alexandra Elizabeth on Aug 2, so between the pregnancy and the new baby, I'm hardly ever here, though I think about a lot of the gals on here a lot. But, wanted to say howdy. Sounds like life is pretty hectic for you right now. I hope you can get settled down soon.
