Kate recently told Bill that I am smarter than he is because my degree is bigger.

tee hee

But it *is* true-my degree is bigger than his-plus I have two and he only has one.

But, he makes a LOT more money with his one degree than I ever did with my two, so...

Plus he is great with math and science. Math I will be ok with, but science? Ick. Not my thing.

this is the opposite of jake who told me once (recently) that .....

"you act like you went to college just because dad did. like you live vicariously through him"

yeah, teens are awesome. bleh

I could never study with my kids around either-that would not work for me.

And i do count down as well, but it seems like in our house, all of a sudden it is bedtime and we aren't prepared.

Once Bill gets home, it is mayhem.

I am trying to be strict with the 8pm bedtime. Anna needs the rest. She is SO tired from school!

She was up before 7 this morning, and this is a girl who needs at least 11 hours.

how does she like school?

(you having trouble with all day?)

She is doing great!!  She loves school.  She is just really tired.  She wants a rest everyday when she comes home, and she says she wishes they had rest time at school.  I know as time goes on she will adjust, but my neighbor's daughter is feeling the same way too. (they are opposites in that Emma doesn't want to speak when she comes out of school, and Anna has been saving it all up all day long and talks the entire way home, lol)

I HATE all day.  I truly do.  I think that it is completely unnecessary for the vast majority of 5 year olds.  I won't subject you to all of my thinking on it, and I *do* understand the reasoning that supporters of it cite, but I still hate it.  I know homeschooling is just not right for us, but I MISS my daughter, and I think she would thrive just as much in a half day program.

Oh, btw, Hi Sara and Tracy!!

Sara, my brain hurts just thinking about learning all of that stuff.

IDT I could go back to school now...YGG!!!

hi right back smile

i never really went to college. i got preggers with jake 1 year out of high school (found out a week after i signed up for college classes). i did take some classes (about a year total) while jake was little.

many, many times i wish i had just sucked it up and gone to school while we still lived with my parents.

I think it would be so hard to do with a baby, but I guess it would be easier than with 4 kids!  Still, at that age, I seriously doubt I would have made it work to go to college with a baby.

I am really impressed you are doing this now-I am so done with school, lmao.

ive decided I dont like the name harper anymore. Its like Harp on her. I dont know today I just decided i dont like it.

Today I decided I like Ainslee Marie F.

Marie is my middle name.

DH hates it. Oh well I said I didnt want the EE sound at the end anyway.
I still have a longer list. And dh promised to go through the names. I told him he has three weeks before I name the baby whatever I want.

lol.  So what are his suggestions?

I like Ainslee, btw-I think it has a nice ring to it.

And here I thought that only girls were the mouthy teenagers!!!

Well, hopefully everyone will make it through Jake's teen years alive-just in time for you to start in with it with a whole new crop, lol!!!

So do you leave the rollers in there?

Like all night?

And will she sleep with them like that?

The only name he has added to the list is Johannah. I like it dont LOVE it and feel like Im trying to like it a lot because its the only input hes given me besides hate it, hate it, hate it to my other names. But then I feel he wins. Becuase Im trying really hard to be open to his suggestions.

I also prefer Johanna (hawna) He does not. I think Johannah seems like two names instead of one.

Tracy, do you find that mornings are harder for you when your UC is acting up?

Mornings are definitely hard for me, and they seem to be a problem time of day for lots of UC'ers.

Even in remission, these earlier mornings are causing me discomfort in the AM.

YES. my taper was not working well so she told mes  to go to the last effective dose for two weeks. My original taper was 7-5-5-5 so Im on 20 mgs now. In the mornings I still go 3 times but all within ten minutes of each other so I dont know if it really counts as three times and then im good for the day. And Im fine all night but the second Im up to get scott even if I lie back down I really have to go

Yup-this is me as well.  Once I wake up, I have to go.  It isn't as bad now-I don't have urgency and all that, but I always go in the mornings.  And when flaring, mornings are awful.  I would be the same way-go a bunch of times in quick succession (sp?).  The sometimes I would lay back down, like if the girls came in and we didn't have anywhere to go, and as soon as I got up again, I was running to tha bathroom all over.

I'm sorry you are still on 20mg.  That stinks.  How is it affecting you?

you know I barely notice it except when i was tapering it was giving me the joint pain. I guess you could argue it gives me the munchies as the other day I ate two double cheese burgers and two large fries from McDs myself, but I was only on 5mg then and well Im a hungry hungry preggo

lol-yes, that definitely could be the pregnancy too!! But I do get the joint pain something fierce. I hope it isn't too bad for you once you taper down again.

What is the taper plan from here?
