hi girls

we're sweltering

it's still in the 90s and it's 845. the air isn't moving and no one here has air conditioning.

we have one fan and mike thinks it's important that the kids have it.

:eyebrow guy

i disagree.

I could not live without AC.

My ILs don't have it, which I think is INSANE.  I can kinda see not having it up where you are, but even so.

And I would so take the fan.  How do you only have one fan???

holy crap-I can't even imagine living in Nevada without AC-I can totally see how it would be against the law!!

I am supposed to be working on my shutterfly album (I have a free one, but I have to use it by tonight), but I am sitting here instead.

I am a slacker like that.

I could never study with my kids around either-that would not work for me.

And i do count down as well, but it seems like in our house, all of a sudden it is bedtime and we aren't prepared.

Once Bill gets home, it is mayhem.

I am trying to be strict with the 8pm bedtime. Anna needs the rest. She is SO tired from school!

She was up before 7 this morning, and this is a girl who needs at least 11 hours.

i'm not gonna lie, it's hard to get the time to study.

now that i'm old i'm a total perfectionist and i want an A in every class.

with the kids being up from 6am - 8pm it's rough.

plus, this class has a ton of suffixes that all mean the same thing.

i have no trouble at all with things like "cardio, hepat, adeno, etc..." but, -ac, -isis, -al, etc.... those are getting confusing.

Kate took a long nap at my parents house today, so after I tucked Anna in, I laid down with Kate in her bed

She had that ladybug thingy-the one with the stars that light up, and it is really cool. I find it very soothing and relaxing, lmao.

Anyway, we chatted and then I asked her to sing me a song.

She sang Once Upon a Dream because Sleeping Beauty is her fave princess

She is pretty good for an almost 4 year old!!

Not that I am surprised, given the musicality of her lineage, but she is a sweet little singer.

I love moments like that, when I let things go enough to just relax and have them. And Kate adores it too-she would love it if I did that everynight with her.

Kate recently told Bill that I am smarter than he is because my degree is bigger.

He said, "gee, I wonder who told you that."

tee hee

But it *is* true-my degree is bigger than his-plus I have two and he only has one.

But, he makes a LOT more money with his one degree than I ever did with my two, so...

Plus he is great with math and science. Math I will be ok with, but science? Ick. Not my thing.

hi right back smile

i never really went to college. i got preggers with jake 1 year out of high school (found out a week after i signed up for college classes). i did take some classes (about a year total) while jake was little.

many, many times i wish i had just sucked it up and gone to school while we still lived with my parents.

ive decided I dont like the name harper anymore. Its like Harp on her. I dont know today I just decided i dont like it.

Today I decided I like Ainslee Marie F.

Marie is my middle name.

DH hates it. Oh well I said I didnt want the EE sound at the end anyway.
I still have a longer list. And dh promised to go through the names. I told him he has three weeks before I name the baby whatever I want.
