My day has been ok, all three kids have colds and Avery is teething on top of that. So my morning was filled with baby snuggles and keeping a slight fever down for her. Poor little girl. I hate seeing her sick. Austin doesn't mind it so much, but he tends to wipe his nose with his hand/arm. Its great. LOL

Other than that I watched an episode of Doctors this morning talking about the grossest places. Uh, I don't think I will ever sleep in a hotel again. Or use a tanning bed (not that I did before, but YUCK!). And they said that you should wash your sheets after every time you have sex, or once a week if you sleep in PJs. LOL Weird.

Good day. LOL

How is your pregnancy going Tracy? I can imagine you are having a hard time finding time to rest now. If I remember right, you are skipping on finding out gender this time around right?

I am eating a late lunch. This day is not turning out how I had in mind, but that is not a bad thing!

There is a volunteer orientation at the elementary school this afternoon at 2, and all parents who want to volunteer need to attend one of these. So I decided today was the best day to go. I figured Kate and I would just play and I would have her skip her nap, then we could both go over there for it.

Then my mom called to tell me this woman at our gym was booking facials at half price through October, and if you booked today, you also got an add on-either a peel or eye treatment for free. She wanted me to go book one for myself (and offered to pay, since she was forcing me into it, but it is only $40-I can handle that), and asked me what else I had on my plate today. So when I told her, she said to just take Kate over to their house after I picked her up from preschool, and she could nap at their house.

I argued about it, but then she said they are going away for 2 weeks soon, and she would miss Kate.

So, that is nice!

And Kate had a GREAT first day-she was supa excited. heart.gif

Your mom is a sweet lady (I guess it runs in the fam! heart.gif).

And that's great Kate had such a positive first day! Yay!

i'm hoping for a sitter at some point this weekend so Dan & I can go on a date.

we haven't had a date night in a long time.

maybe i'll rope jake into staying home one day this weekend.

not friday though - he's so excited. espn is going to be at his high school football game this week. (he doesn't play but it's his school). nike is there all this week selling special edition school/nike clothes & shoes.

he wanted the $120 shoes. i said no but he was really cool about that.

i did tell him i'd let him get a $20 shirt.

i can't get over how much he likes school (so far) this year. i LOVE it!

he's doing so well with his homework too. all on his own!

Wow, Sara, that's wonderful news about Jake! I hope he keeps it up with school and homework and that this year is one of the best ever for him.

I am so exhausted. Dh said there was a 60 percent chance hed be home by 8. That would be super great but the kids go to bed at 7.

I am not motivated to do anything and wish THE HELP book I had ordered had come by now.

hi girls

we're sweltering

it's still in the 90s and it's 845. the air isn't moving and no one here has air conditioning.

we have one fan and mike thinks it's important that the kids have it.

:eyebrow guy

i disagree.

Charlie starts school tomorrow.

they have been talking about possible school closures for tomorrow since it is supposed to be hotter (35c).

none of our schools have ac either (since we start in septepmber and it is NEVER this warm).

it's so crazy humid. (I know I'm preaching to the choir and you all have it much worse all summer.

i do like it hot but i like that normally here, it cools down at night.

LMAO. That is TOO funny.

And you forgot Mindy! I think hers are closer in age than anyone's.  She had 3 in 3 years, didn't she?  I mean, Izzie just turned 3 and Joshua just started K!!

IHNI how people do that with the kid a year thing.  My MIL did the same thing with the first 3-which is probably why Bill came 4 years after that, lol.  I've told him he probably owes his life to his stillborn brother, because if he had survived, my MIL would have been insane-she may not have had anymore children after that! (she has even said it was a blessing in disguise)
