I saw "Eat Pray Love" a few weeks ago. Hated it. Didn't read the book but pretty glad I didn't since I hated the storyline of the movie.
"The Switch" (with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman) was super-cute, funny, hokey, predictable. Loved it!
I'm going to see a movie called "Get Low" this evening. Robert Duvall is in it (and Bill Murray, I think), and one of them is planning his own funeral. The preview looked pretty funny. The imdb site said it isn't releasing until December 2010 so at least I think that's what I'm going to see. The preview was called "Funeral Party". Perhaps it is one of those rare instances where Memphis actually gets an early release.
"Get Low" was really good. Great acting. It had kind of a stupid ending; the reason the hermit was a hermit was pretty dumb. Other than that, it was a good movie. Really different.
