Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing great here in Momsquawk!  I haven't posted here in at least a year, probably more.  But, I wanted to swing by and say hello.

First off, I wanted to apologize for just dropping off the face of the earth.  I've been very overwhelmed with work, the kids school, etc and its been really, really crazy.  After I stopped posting here I would once in a while come and re-visit just to browse but never really had time to post.  I even lost touch on Facebook with some of you, and I'm sorry about that but I guess after a while I figured since I was so out of touch that was bound to happen.  So, I hope to re-connect with some of you here and hope to post once in a while when I get a chance.

In any event, a little update on me & the kids.  I'm still working although I'm very blessed to be working from home 3 days a week and I only drive into work twice a week.  That really is a blessing and has helped me balance work & life a lot easier!

The kids are growing like weeds!  David just started 2nd grade last week.  I can't believe it!  He's such a big boy and he's really enjoying his friends & school.  He will be turning 7 in September.

Natalie just turned 5 in July and she started Kindergarten last week as well.  She's having a bit of a hard time with the transition, but I'm hoping with time and once she gets a chance to meet some new friends that she will be more comfortable and start to really enjoy it.

My lil' pistol Diego is 3 1/2, NOT potty trained yet because he's being a HUGE PITA about that.  He just started Preschool last week and so far the drop offs have been a major tantrum.  However, he's slowly warming up to it and I'm looking forward to the day when he's potty trained and when the drop offs are not so dramatic.

I really hope to be in touch with you all and I hope everyone is doing wonderfully and that your kids are doing great.

I don't have a lot of time to post & I am at work but I swear I was *just* thinking about you yesterday! I am SO glad you posted. I will come back but I just wanted to say I'm happy you posted! heart.gif

Well, you still have the last siggy I remember from you so maybe you haven't posted much either? smile.gif  How are your 2 princesses doing?  I can't believe how much our kids have grown up!  Thanks for the welcome message.

How is your DH doing with his UC? And I was wondering the same thing as Melissa about your mom too.

You are so sweet!  She's doing ok.  She has lost her short-term memory, most likely permanently.  She's very frustrated about that but we are all very grateful to still have her in our lives, and that is pretty much the only repercussion she's had of the aneurysm.  Physically she is fine, so that is a big relief! Thanks for asking.  smile.gif
