I went for a walk to the bank when I got home from work.
I now have all kinds of pressure and discomfort. I am chugging water and laying down. I am not pregnant enough to have issues already. I have a feeling this baby is gonna cause lots of drama
i got a letter from connor's school today announcing who his teacher is.
i also got a letter that said i had the option to transfer him b/c they didn't meet their no child left behind goal for english.
i have no intention of transferring him b/c i know it is a great school. the letter actually said that the two groups that did not meet the goals were low income and special needs, which i thought was surprising. not that those groups didn't meet the goals necessarily, but that the letter specified like that.
anywho, the point of the story is that if you decide to transfer-
1. school starts 9/10, but you can't transfer until 9/17??
2. if you transfer you have to ride the bus to your original school every day and then they will have a shuttle bus to the transfer school. same in the afternoon. that just seems silly to me.
since my kids had been doing so well with my no tv rule for 3 weeks i decided to let up a little and let them choose 1 movie a day. for some reason, maybe the slower pace of movies and lack of commercials??, connor doesn't seemed to get so hyped up watching them.
anyways...they have chosen to watch the exact same care bears movie every flipping day. i am about to stab myself in the eye.

*sigh*
sounds like a girl to me. :P
omg seriously
I swear I will be SHOCKED if it isn't.
I think I preferred the plain old pregnancy induced hypertension that I had with Lucas.
corey, i'm surprised they specified too. probably so all the other parents didn't freak out and transfer their kids.
oh, and it also said that because of space limits, the option to transfer would be limited, with preference going to low income and special needs kids. seems like maybe they just need to invest in some programs geared towards these groups instead of shuttling them to another school where they will most likely be taught in a similar way.

wow, that is ridiculous.
one thing to know is that the students on F&RL can qualify for free tutoring to bring up those scores. that COULD happen this year and then they would meet their goal.

this is exactly my new job. :)
maybe you could travel for work:)
lmao.
no thanks.
i like telecommuting with occasional afternoon/evening meetings.
like tonight.
did i already say i'm going to a back to school night tonight.
i hope that my hershey's kisses and slide show set to jack johnson's "we're gonna be friends" makes lots of parents sign their kids up for tutoring. LMAO!
i can't get over this peanut butter, jelly, butter concoction that was posted in the lunch thread.
me either. I googled it to see if I had made it wrong my whole life. Nope.
Just PB and J.
Now a Fluffernutter sandwhich I could go for though or PBJ and fluff.
I laughed when it said fluffernutter was nominated to be MAs state sandwich
that is b/c the factory is in *i think* woburn.
yum.
when i lived in missouri the grocery store (piggly wiggly-lmfao) didn't have fluff in the aisle with the pb.
so i asked and they had NO idea wtf it was.
i said "you know...to make fluffernutter sandwiches."
so the guy got on the p.a. system and said "this here girl is lookin' to make herself a fluffernutter sandwich" and everyone started laughing hysterically.
then they informed me it was marshmallow creme and was kept with the cake mixes because it is only used in baking.
