Oh and if you want to start a MF thread in MSBL I'll do my best to answer questions once you start.

I'm sure Erin will help too.

You will have questions, trust me.

Also, join the medifast boards. I searched like crazy on there in the beginning and got lots of good advice.

It's ALL been talked about.

soooo, now to figure out how to order.

I just order from medifast1.com.

Then I google medifast coupon code and you can get $15 to $25 off depending on how much you spend.

I know Erin's way is better but I haven't tried it yet.

if you spend $275, there's a $50 off coupon code - MORAG50

as per erin, if you click through www.bigcrumbs.com, you get a 16% rebate from your purchase.

so i'm going to order $275 for me and my friend tomorrow.  after clicking through and using the coupon, it will cost me a net of $225 including shipping for more than 2 weeks worth of food - 119 meals and 2 boxes of crackers.  that works out to just about 30 days worth of meals.  not bad!

225 for a month of meals is not bad at all. so the rebate can be applied to the next purchase, correct?

did you select what you wanted for the 275 or did you do the bundle deal? I think I need to go through the website better. I am working so I cannot do right now, but am starting to think this is not too bad $$. I was thinking it was insane at first.

the rebate either goes into your paypal or onto a prepaid mastercard.  it's up to you.  but then you can use it towards your next order or whatever you want.

eta: i did not do a bundle b/c i don't want any food i won't eat and they all include lots of that.

 They are definitely meals.

What were they talking about?

The crackers are snacks, correct?

I wouldn't eat snacks, it'll just slow your weight loss down.

I think you'll find you don't need them.

The first 3 or 4 days if I was hungry in the afternoon I would eat a pickle or a few slices of turkey.

Don't get into that habit though.

When I put the variety pack in my cart and applied that code, it said "you saved $50"

Wonder why it didnt' work for you?

eta: maybe because the variety pack is $299 so it applied anyway

Just try not to eat more than 2 a day.

This diet is low sodium and too much can throw you off.

my friend and i are going to order 2 weeks each.

i'm planning on ordering around 56 or 60.  that will get me through 2 weeks.

after a week, i'll see how it's going and then order more if i'm liking it and am seeing some progress.

so Kristi, basically you eat their soups, bars, and or drink their shakes for the meals and then you eat your meal that one time, right, which is a lean and green?

Yes and I have the cinnamon pretzels for my afternoon snack.

so would you have that instead of crackers?  lower sodium or you like it better?

April - the pretzels are a full meal. I could just as easily have soup or a bar for a snack. I believe, and I'd have to go back and look for sure, that the crackers are considered a snack to have in addition to your meals. Which probably means it has less calories and fat, etc. so it wouldn't be enough to fill you up as a meal. And then what I was saying is that I would stay away frm snacking in addition to the meals.

And I think I'm confusing you by using the word "snack" when I'm talking about the pretzels. I mean that I eat them as my afternoon meal at 3:00.

Then, in the beginng if I was just starving between 2 of the meals, that's when I'd have a pickle or turkey, not the crackers.
