Okay, y'all.

From 1ish until 2:30ish p.m. central time is when I'm going to need somewhere here to play with me.

If no one is here, then I'll have to clean out closets or do dishes or something.

No, thank you.

ahhhhhhh so this is when you are here

I'm home, laying on my couch with my laptop, getting ready to watch project runway.

And drink a lot of water

We are back from a park lunch play date and I am ready for a nap. Elizabeth, not so much.

Robin, I hope Mark is doing fine and that the lunch incident didn't upset him. That is totally something Elizabeth would have a hard time dealing with.

LL and Leah, I am with you. My dear sweet (giant as Hannah would say) described way more of it to me than I really needed to know. Frankly, I know the man loves me because after what he described, I think it would make me terrified to go near it. lmao.gif

Yep!  Just curious about them.  My big question would be how likely would it be to catch in her hair while she was playing.  Having to remove a big toothed comb she managed to knot into my hair last night, I am well aware of the dangers of long hair and it's ability to snare objects.  I thought I was going to have to cut a big chunk of my hair off the top of my head for a little bit.  I really don't want to repeat the scenario with her.

And the video taping of the birth, um... not sure if I think you are brave or crazy.  giggle.gif

Um I have never made one but it looks that might be a potential hazard for someone as young as Elizabeth (or anyone that might be running and playing with a zipper in their hair LOL)

I am 99.9% NOT going to let him do it. I never even let them put the mirror there when they asked if I wanted it, I feel like if I was meant to watch that then I would be able to see it with my own eyes LOL.

I said the same thing. I told the nurse when she asked that with as much as the human body changes during pregnancy, if I was meant to look I'd have an instant Go-Go Gadget neck at crowning time, or God would have put my head by my vag, or made the birth canal out of a nostril. Not interested at ALL, dude.

I know that motivates the hell out of a lot of people, but I am not one of them. I can say with a great amount of (near) certainity that I would not be motivated but instead would be yelling, "Omg, what is HAPPENING! Go BACK! GO BACK! GO BACK WHERE YOU WERE!!!"

I don't even want to know. Have you seen the SATC episode where Charlotte checks out her goodies with a hand mirror in the bathroom, gets this perplexed look on her face, then is staring and topples over? That would be me. Sorry, now I'm lmao because I remember that scene.

omg. this cracked my up. I totally agree. I have no desire to see. My mom watched my nephew being born and I'm like why? why would you want to do that? If I could have been in another room during labor, I would have.

Okay, good.

Mark is not traumatized.

He said, "Mom, there was good stuff for lunch today but you sent me a lunch box. I don't know why you did that. I ate a chicken sandwich because my sandwich dropped on the floor."

Now the kids are snacking and watching SpongeBob.

I used to be on the computer pretty consistently in the evenings--around 9:30/10 central but no one would be around.

Maybe once we get used to the school routine again, I'll be here then.

I think other people should be here then as well.

LMFAO I have tried to warn Joe about this. I think if we don't take a childbirth class I am going to have to get him a video so he knows what to expect LOL

I got a good nap in 1145 till 2.

K did wake me up a few times but not horribly loud or with obnoxious things to ask. The boys are still napping.

Where is everyone today???

I def don't want to do actual work

I was @ school......chasing DH around who came back to get me b/c I'm a guilt driven wife and let DH have the van while I was @ new student orientation. I was walking after the van as it kept driving past me in circles. I was also recommending strongly that the VP of Student Services for the college had better make good on his payment purge protection for as he so lovingly failed to follow through with. I was a bit peeved at that.

First day was a success for Colin! heart.gif He LOVED school. He warned us not to pull the lever on the emergency door of the school bus or we'd get pink slips. He also said that the bus driver drives too fast...But I mean I also drive too fast according to him. Ha ha. He had school lunch too b/c the lunch I lovingly packed him wasn't good enough.

I officially start tomorrow. Two classes- Eng 111 and Math 070 b/c I'm a retard and bombed the algebra portion of the placement test. Woo freaking hoo. Still waiting on my FAFSA and the tuition check from a very generous grandfather who is helping me out until I get my FAFSA. But the school will reimburse me the $$ I shelled out for tuition so I will send that back to my grandfather.

And then there was dinner and bed. Migraine on top of it all and no Imitrex to stop it.

But all in all I had a wonderful day despite the flood of tears I deposited all over the elementary school when I took Colin in. Tomorrow he rides the bus in. I cannot wait to wave him off.

He's too grown. Can we rewind the clock?

Jennie, I am glad Collins first day was a good one! Yeah for you and starting classes! I hope all the financial stuff is straightened out soon. I don't know why, but it is almost always a given that it always has a kink in my experience.

I am torn as to which one.  I kind of like that furry one because it's really different and so does Elizabeth.  Have you checked out any of the ghosts?

Ohhhh that's cute too.

I haven't looked at ghosts but I will.  You just made me decide to do a quick Halloween line of bows and dresses. Thanks :)
