GM

School starts today for my younger 3 so I'm a little bummed. I also need to make an apple crisp. Sigh. Sometimes I hate that I have an apple tree that I feel obligated to use all of. But it saves me so much money on fruit that I can't completely hate it.

I'm looking forward to no one trashing my house between the hours of 8 and 3.

Of course they'll still trash it when they get home but maybe they'll be too tired.

I really wanted to get the house looking clean and organized today so Glen wouldn't think I did nothing all day.

But I've been shopping with my mom, and now she's taking me to lunch.

After that, I'm going swimming with some other moms.

So I may not be able to squeeze cleaning in to the schedule.

Tomorrow is another day. ;D

I have already:

-loaded the dishwasher (not full so I didn't run it)
-folded and put away one load of laundry, washer and dryer are both running now
-found 4 book covers for Henry's books--most places were out of them
-picked up a very little bit in the living room
-started to clean the toilet in my bathroom, then broke the dang flush handle. Anyone know how to fix that? Me, neither.

I haven't lost it yet, having my baby at school.

I get a wave of "ACK!" every now and then but I'm keeping it at bay for now.

At the kindergarten parent breakfast, someone started talking about the last five years have flown by, so I finished my food and left really quickly.

Don't want to think about that.

good afternoon!

i am having a super unproductive day:(

every single one of us is still in our jammies and it is almost 2pm here.

i cannot wait for school to start so we get into a routine. as much as i was dreading morning kindy, i think it might be a blessing being forced to get my butt in gear right when i wake up.

it is rainy and blah here today, which isn't making my no tv stance as easy as last week.biggrin

plus it is costing me a dayum fortune in batteries b/c they are finding all sorts of toys they hadn't played with in eons and of course that means i have been replacing the batteries in everything.

we are letting them have a family movie night one night of the weekend.

last night we watched the night at the museum sequel, which was funnier than i expected.

it is supposed to rain most of this week, so i am sure i will give in a few times just to save my own sanity;)

i am trying to think of how many moms who are sending their kids to kindy this year that do not have any younger kiddos (and thus time to themselves during the day--so jealous!) ??

robin, i know, is one.

maybe i should make myself one of those paper chains counting down to september of 2015 when jamison enters kindergarten and i can finally shop alone again.biggrin

Holy busy day!!!!

I am exhausted and still have a ton to do.

I'm giving myself a few minutes to sit before I keep going.

good potential on the boat.  someone drove down from NY yesterday and liked it.  he wants to see if he can get new carpets, canvas and transportation worked into his financing.  he's supposed to call matt tomorrow.  i think if he can include those in his package, he'll buy it (the boat was priced $8k below market value, so hopefully he can do it).  it will be awesome when we get rid of it.

our house is sitting. :(  there are several foreclosures in our neighborhood which is killing us.  we're talking about possibly renting it out for a while until the market turns a little.  we need to eat up our huge mortgage payment somehow.  we can't get in rent what we pay in mortgage + taxes, but it will just be a few hundred short, which will make our lives much easier.

i think matt's working on transitioning from his old position to the new one.  we're hoping to hear something soon about a possible relocation. :)

thanks for thinking of us, libs!

I have to go shower so I can pick up Joe.

I scored 3 pairs of maternity pants at Goodwill while I was out. I can't wait to put on pants that fit that are not leggings.

Home from the pool.

How sad is it that I get majorly excited when I look in the mailbox and see coupons from Kroger?

I said, "Yay!!" out loud.

They always send me two packets--don't know why.

April - I'm so glad Matt is coming to visit.

I can't remember the time difference there. Are you one hour behind central?

So he'll be there in 30 minutes?

Have a great time!
