I don't like part-time friends.  If you're not going to be my friend all the time, and only when you're happy, or in the mood, or whatever, do me a favor and NOT be my friend.

Just needed to vent a little, some IRL drama going on.

How could anybody NOT be your friend?

You're awesome.

 aww, you're too sweet

there are some haters out there, and it's okay, but hate me all the time, not part-time, that's all i ask

I just spent Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday playing with Mark and his kindergarten friends because all of their big siblings were at school.

School starts for them this week.

So that was the last time EVER that those kids will get to play with each other during a weekday while the "big kids" are at school.

They're big kids now.

I really, really, really hope I don't lose it in the morning when I'm dropping off Mark at school.

There's a kindergarten parent breakfast at school. I bet they have lots of tissues there.

Henry, Mark, and Chad are running around being crazy so Glen is leaving to go to the store.

I'm going to the movies in a little while so hopefully Glen will be back before I need to leave.

I just finished my dinner--leftovers--and a piece of cake--also leftover.

What are you all doing?

Come play.

Okay, fine.

Dh is beyond weird--I know y'all knew that--about his old stuff.

He's got some ancient board games in the top of our closet that have missing pieces, broken playing boards, and taped-up boxes.

I haaaaate seeing those in there.

I put a couple of them in our last garage sale, and he brought them back into the house because "blah blah blah blah my parents blah blah blah important blah blah blah when I was born blah blah blah".

Give me a break.

They're board games. No, they used to be board games. Now they're trash.

Anyway, Mark was looking for some play money so I let him get it out of Glen's "Easy Money" game.

When Glen got home from the store, he saw the box in the living room, looked in it, then started searching around the house.

I asked what he was doing, and he said he was looking for the rest of his game because the money was gone.

I told him the kids were using it for something.

He let them use it but he told them not to take money out of any of his other games.

Um, hello?

It's not actual money.

Nutjob.

I told Henry that Chad couldn't stay long if he invited him over to play.

We negotiated and came up with a 7:30 leave-time.

Henry is tired of Chad NOW.

At 6:03.

Oops.

Mark and Chad were making seashells out of dirt in the backyard.

They were using actual seashells, then stuffing them mud and leaving them to dry.

Henry came inside because it is too dang hot to stay outside.

Well, unless you're in a swimming pool.

What are my plans for this week, you ask?

Well, tomorrow I'm taking BOTH kids to school, then I'll clean up around here.

I may run a quick errand or two, then after lunch, I'm going swimming with moms only.

Tomorrow evening I'm going to try to go back to Zumba.

Tuesday morning I have a women's meeting at church, and in the evening I'm watching Paige and Grace while their parents go to their school parent meetings.

Wednesday . . . ??

Thursday evening, I have Henry's 5th grade parent meeting, then Glen and I are having a date while Paige and Grace's parents watch Henry and Mark.

Friday . . . ??

Saturday morning, there is a loooooong meeting at church from 8:45 until past noon to discuss some important business, and I really want to be there. I just wonder if they're serving any food.

Oh, and did I mention that we don't actually play board games?

So they haven't been played since before we got married.

Oooh, I know.

This Thursday, on our "date night", we can stay here and play ancient board games.

Fun times.

This afternoon, Ms. Margaret asked Henry what his favorite thing was at school so far this year.

Science Lab!

Woo-hoo, his 5th grade teachers are doing something right.

Last year, he hated science.

Yes, I know he's only been in school for one week but still . . . that's an improvement.

Dyr how I tried a new Sunday school class last week?

Well I really missed all my friends in the other class so I decided not to go back to the new one.

However, I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings in the new class so today I avoided it all by helping in the 3rd grade Sunday school class.

They really need a 3rd teacher in there so I thought I'd give it a trial run today.

There were only 4 kids, and they were all well-behaved.

So I said I would do that.

Now I'll be on a 2 on, 1 off rotation for 3rd grade so I can go to my adult class every 3rd week.

And by that time, maybe the new class people will forget that I visited.

If Glen is not home in 5 minutes, heads will roll.

My movie starts at 7:00, and he knows that.

I really should have left my house by now.

Grrrrrrrrrr.

Hola

PA was super fun but a looooooong ride. By long I mean over 3 hours with stopping to pee. This is long when you cannot share the driving with the other adult in the car.

Lucas was with Quint. Quint says he was awesome, Nikki told me otherwise. I will probably not be leaving him with his father for a whole weekend again.

Dyk PA touches Ohio?

I'm just sayin'.

Geography, it's cool stuff.

No point to that or anything.

I was in Easton. Northern PA not far over the Jersey border.

Leah PA does touch OH and if I had just driven another 10 hours west I would have been at your house LOL (I was melting down after 2.5 hours, Joe almost drove but I calmed down because he would have had to drive the speed limit and obey all road laws LOL)
