So she's 75-80% for weight and above the curve on height.
A big eater. She eats everything in front of her and everything in front of whoever is sitting next to her. And whatever else she can get her adorable little fingers on.
We're at quite a few words, "Mama," "Daddy," "Bubba," "Uh oh," "Ow," "This" (well it comes out as "Dis" but we know what it is) "Jiji" (kitten's name but it comes out like "sheshe") and she's said a few others but I can't remember.
Not walking. But every one says that's fine. Cruising. And she takes aided steps. Climbing. Funny. Sweet. Adorable. Loving. She hugs and kisses EVERYTHING. The cats, the dog, us, her baby Stella..Whatever can be kissed is kiss. She sometimes gives other people a kiss but not really. Definitely more cautious than Colin ever was. She's a Mommy's girl. I love how when we tell her "no" when she's about to do something she best not be doing for safety reasons she'll scrunch up her face, cry a little, and kiss us like that's somehow going to change her mind. And she'll throw herself into the floor and go "Ow! Ow!" and then sit up and do it all over again. Or she'll go and bump her head into the washer b/c she likes the sound it makes...
Not sure who she takes after in that regards. All in all an easier baby. Lulling almost.
And Colin had his repeat eye test thingy- passed. He also is 3'8.5" and 39lbs. String bean. Going to keep an eye on him when he starts school (next week) for hyperactivity and impulse issues since he's been a live wire and Sunday really scared us (long story) so we'll see how school goes!
Fwiw, Evie didn't walk until ~14.5 months -- no worries (as you know, but sometimes it's good to hear anyway); every kiddo is on their own timetable and it won't matter down the road at all.
