I'm so excited. We are having a kid free weekend this weekend. That has not happened in a LONG time!!
I'm also nervous though, becuase I haven't been away from M2 in so long. He seems to really be attached to me! I'm afraid he won't want to stay at my mom's!!
He'll be really upset if he finds out where we are going.
We are going to put in bay and he loves it there. We usually take him with us, but we wanted on weekend without him.
We will drop him off at my mom's Friday night and pick him up sunday morning. So it's really only all day saturday that he'll be there.
you have to pay for busing here unless you live 2+miles from school (which we luckily do).

Yes, the schoolbus ride is free but if you live close to the school, there is no bus service offered. You walk or your parents (or somebody else) drives you.

Ditto here; Holly just barely lives too close to be able to ride the bus (no service within 3 miles, I think it is). If she did ride, it would be free.

I'm not usually one to complain about the weather but I've been getting overheated the past several days--lightheaded, dry mouth, nausea, bad headache--even though I've been drinking water like crazy.
Maybe, maybe this rain will get the temps back down in the 90's where they belong.
Peyton and Benjamin (our across the street neighbors) are here playing with my boys.
Peyton is going into the 2nd grade, and Benjamin is going into Kindergarten. Benjamin was in Mark's preschool class.
We've always lived across the street from each other and been "friendly"-ish but this past year, since the little ones were in school together, we've really gotten to know each other.
It's so fun!
And their mom is great. Her house is a wreck just like mine so neither of us cares if the other sees it.
Hmm, we always had school supply lists as a kid. Maybe we just dont remember it as much since we werent paying? lol. I think teachers just get nothing these days and they have to get supplies somewhere :dunno.
oh, hi!
Kiera's school has a fundraiser where the PTA will buy the supplies for you, and then tack on an extra $5 for parents. A friend told me it was a must. So, I kept my eye open for it, checked the website, etc. Then I called and they said, oops, they already piut the order it. Thats not very good advertising for a fundraiser when you are looking for it and cant find it.
Im trying to buy something on groupon and it is giving me a real hard time. I couldnt complete the urchase on my iphone (havent been able to on any deals yet) so I went to the website. I click purchase and then nothing happens. For all I know, I have now been charged 12 times.
