LL, it could be the sugar, but it could also be the butter/fat in it that is giving you heartburn. Can you tell how you are carrying sox? Maybe baby is pushing your belly up.

My extra girth is making it hard to totally tell but it seems everything is already getting pushed up.  I can feel the baby move here and there and it definitely hangs out as far up as it can be right now.

GM

I decided to cut my list of things to do today in half. My meeting for this afternoon was canceled. I was going to organize the things in my attic but I have two big things up there that I need to get rid of before I can really get at the things I need to organize well. I have no idea who to give these two big things two. I'd like to give them to my brother but it's a 12 hour drive to his place and I'm certainly not going to ship them to him. He could buy new for the price that would cost. Anyone headed my way to his in the next couple of months?

LL, I think it's good that you are a little anxious about things. That means that you have one foot on the ground even if your heads are in the clouds. It is also good because at least you know what you are willing to put up with now and you don't have to settle. I am sure living together will bring lots of challenges but it will most likely work itself out before long. I know when I first moved here with Robert we had to figure out a few things. Who am I kidding? We still have to do that sometimes. lmao.gif

I also need to be mindful of everything he is leaving for me.  He told me that he cried last night saying goodbye to one of his groups of friends. Tonight is his last night at work and he is going out after with the people there so there will be more emotion.

We already have rules in place as far as "fighting" (we plan on never ever having a fight LMAO) and about never going to bed with something unresolved.

I know we are going to amazing heart.gif

LL, Im so excited for you!  Way to go on communicating onthis stuff now.  We still dont communicate well on that stuff.

We both refuse to ever have crappy relationships/marriages again.  This is for life this time :)

Tell your man I will be calling after he moves.

He better be prepared to say wickit kw-ear.

Make it happen.

But I'll give you guys a day or two to rub one out since you're so excited and all that.

To answer the questions, I was a walker. I hated it, especially in the winter when it was below 0 and nearly a mile walk with two instruments and my backpack to carry.

Since I homeschool my kids, having them do the same isn't an issue. However, if I didn't homeschool, they would ride the bus. It's too far to walk.

Bus rider in elementary. The driveway was a mile long so I guess I was a walker also.LOL Since it was out in the country it was a k-12 bus and I rode on it with at least 3 of my older siblings. I like it then. Hated it in jr. high and even when we lived on the bus route I would walk. I let my kids decide if they want to ride the bus or not. I prefer to drive them.

LL will he eat crock pot meals? I love doing those because they always seem to make clean up so much easier after dinner. I know if I do a roast in mine, my family gobbles that up. I also do some soups in them. I am always on the look out for new crock pot recipes. :dork:

How's the heartburn? Are you having to watch what you eat because of it? I always had terrible heartburn when pregnant.

I think so LOL

He swears that he will eat anything I cook.  I just want to make sure they are enough food and that he isn't forcing something down to not hurt my feelings LOL

So far only chocolate has given me really bad heartburn but it's really just starting and I am sure that there will be more things that cause it very soon.

Young love.  That is so sweet.  Ray is such a pain when it comes to eating what I cook.  He has to have a meat for every meal.  I'm doing less and less of that and I'm almost dairy free and he thinks I'm trying to turn him vegan.  Obviously he has no idea what vegan is.

I have no idea how I am going to cook every night once Joe is here.

I certainly don't do it now, we love our unhealthy frozen goodness LOL

He won't eat that crap. We were also going over some things I like to make for dinner that are not gonna work for him (like breakfast for dinner is probably not filling enough for him) He is definitely going to have to be involved in the meal planning and shopping or he may starve.

You need to get E-Mealz.

It's my lifeline.

I haven't used it this week, because I suck. But, we eat for about $50/week (for dinners, anyways) when I stick to the plan. I haven't made anything that I didn't like yet, and that's saying a lot because I'm crazy freaking picky.

Joe can suck it on the breakfast for dinner disliking. Breakfast for dinner is the ish!!!

Thank you for posting this. We are going to do it and I'm glad to see someone posting that they like it and that it saves money! I need to take a look at it this weekend.

I really do love it...

Some of the recipes are like, "Are you serious?" in the simplicity, but really for me it's less about the recipes and more about the work it takes to put together a meal plan - and coordinating it to the sales? Freaking forget about it!

Everything's been great, though, and I adore it. Totally worth the money, for sure.

Not sure what that means but I'm stealing it from your man the next time I get caught off task by my DH.

biggrin

He just told Colin he had to do paperwork....

confuse <--- Me b/c I don't recall him having ..... well, that thought's just mean.

He got a call from a recruiter/head hunter. For a job. In Alabama.

furious<-- Me b/c I just got the fracking VP of Instruction to help me get my Financial Aid situation straightened out. So now, do I call the VP of Student Services or do I wait to see what's going on with DH? If he gets a job in freaking Alabama then we move.

Another potential move.

I'm praying the opposite direction.

But the benefits. College for the kids- paid. Profit sharing (no idea what this is but DH tells me its good)

I need a next door BFF to and b*tch to.

I made gluten free cookies w/ organic peanut butter. They're all gone.

I'm making gluten free, dairy free bread.

We're eliminating all refined sugars, wheat, dairy, HFCS, and artificial colors and flavorings from our diet to see if it impacts Colin's and I's attention deficit difficulties. I'm bonafide. He's not been diagnosed. But I still want to see if a change in diet works.

Here's hoping!

Blackened Tilapia sandwhiches thanks to Paula Dean for dinner. I need to go to the store.

We're trying to quit smoking.

My birthday is Saturday and I have no idea what DH is up to in regards to that. I just want to go somewhere child free for the day and veg...ALONE..As in no one. Me, my iTouch, and that's it...

Prayers that everything works out with the job the way it's supposed to :)

Im excited because our aquarium is having an overnight the friday before school starts. she and I are going to go do that ! they will have games, crafts, etc. Then you "camp" next to the tanks. the next morning we will meet Kyle anr Hys for breakfast and maybe a pedi :) I think it will be a memorable experience to mark her kindergarten.

We did this with Hannah last year and just did it again a couple weeks ago :) We did a trip to Build A Bear because she had birthday gift cards, dinner at Red Lobster because she adores crab legs LOL (we also had a gift card to help with that cost) then took her to the water park and stayed overnight. She had a blast. I'm pretty sure we will make it an every year thing, and when Mr. B is old enough to enjoy it we will probably take him but that will be awhile.

I'm listening to Bryson cry in his crib over his binky :( :( Today is his first day without it. He's only been having it at nap and bedtime and I wouldn't be remotely worried about taking it away if he wasn't pulling his hair out. He puts the binky in his hair or something and then pulls hair out. He has a huge bald spot. Sigh. So it's time. I'm going cold turkey, we did it with Hannah and I know it's the way to go but it's hard. I was attached to the binky too because I don't want him to grow up.
