I have no idea how I am going to cook every night once Joe is here.

I certainly don't do it now, we love our unhealthy frozen goodness LOL

He won't eat that crap. We were also going over some things I like to make for dinner that are not gonna work for him (like breakfast for dinner is probably not filling enough for him) He is definitely going to have to be involved in the meal planning and shopping or he may starve.

You need to get E-Mealz.

It's my lifeline.

I haven't used it this week, because I suck. But, we eat for about $50/week (for dinners, anyways) when I stick to the plan. I haven't made anything that I didn't like yet, and that's saying a lot because I'm crazy freaking picky.

Joe can suck it on the breakfast for dinner disliking. Breakfast for dinner is the ish!!!

It's not that he doesn't like it, just that his skinny azz requires a lot of food to fill him up.

Tell me more of this E-Mealz

Joe would eat out every night if he could (he usually does now, but it's cheap for him to eat at work) and we def cannot do that. Well we could but then we will never be able to get a car or move.

It couldn't be easier - you pick your store, and you get weekly menu plans.

The pro to this is that the girl that makes them, plans with what is on sale for the store you use (unless it's someplace that doesn't have a food ad, like Super Wal-mart, which is what I just switched to after using Kroger for 6ish months.)

Anyways, when you log into your account you get the weekly plan, the recipes, and the grocery list, which is (for the most part) categorized pretty decently. (canned food and that stuff is where it gets a little scattered, but it's not bad.)

Anyways, I love it. It's good stuff. It's (I think) $15 for 3 months, but I've saved that over 10 fold. If you use the promo code DAVE, it's $12.50 for 3 months.

You should try it out. Everytime I go a week without using it, I feel lost. Most of the meals are 30 minutes or less to make (or 30 minutes or less to prep, plus oven time or crockpot time).

Henry doesn't feel good but is TERRIFIED of getting a shot.

Last time we were there, Doc said that he needed a Hep Something booster.

My friend Jennifer told me about that meal planning site the other day.

She showed me a printout of a menu plan.

Looked interesting.

I feel for you Robin.  My ds was beyond awful with shots.  I need to get Elizabeth's but am in no hurry since she isn't going to kindergarten.  After my experience with my ds and shots, let's just say I am gun shy.  I hope it goes better than expected.

LL will he eat crock pot meals? I love doing those because they always seem to make clean up so much easier after dinner. I know if I do a roast in mine, my family gobbles that up. I also do some soups in them. I am always on the look out for new crock pot recipes. :dork:

How's the heartburn? Are you having to watch what you eat because of it? I always had terrible heartburn when pregnant.

I think so LOL

He swears that he will eat anything I cook.  I just want to make sure they are enough food and that he isn't forcing something down to not hurt my feelings LOL

So far only chocolate has given me really bad heartburn but it's really just starting and I am sure that there will be more things that cause it very soon.

Well, we could take bets on how long it will take him before he stops pretending he likes what you make. j/k.  I am pretty sure he will like pretty much anything you make.  If I recall, you like cooking and have some good recipes.  You just need to dust the cobwebs off your spices and will be good to go.

LMAO right?!?! hahaha

My mental state over us living together is in a very weird place right now.

I mean I am totally over the moon happy and we are excited and totally in love, but having been in such an awful relationship for so long there is a lot on my mind about keeping our relationship so awesome and communicating and compromising and yeah all the things 5 and I never ever had.

LL, I think it's good that you are a little anxious about things. That means that you have one foot on the ground even if your heads are in the clouds. It is also good because at least you know what you are willing to put up with now and you don't have to settle. I am sure living together will bring lots of challenges but it will most likely work itself out before long. I know when I first moved here with Robert we had to figure out a few things. Who am I kidding? We still have to do that sometimes. lmao.gif

morning all.

I rode the bus to school. I didnt like it per se but it wasnt bad. But all the cool kids lived in the fancy neighborhood next to the school and could walk. I do remember getting in a few hair pulling fights.... And, when I went to test for my driver's license years later - it was Hairy Jerry my bus driver from Elementary! He said, hey, I remember you, you were so boy crazy...lol.

Kiera's elem is across one major thuroughfair, and just a wee bit too far to walk regularly. But, it starts at 9 am. So, if I were to drop her off at 8:55, and then take Rhys to school, I wouldnt be getting to work until very late. Im stil struggling with what we are going to do about that. I think she might ride the bus to school, I think we are the last stop before school, so it would buy me 15 minutes or so. Other options are to drop her off at my friend Christie's house, and she can go with them, but I dont want to take advantage of her.

My mom lives in the next neighborhood up the hill, so she will be picking K up from school at 3:30 and keeping her (for nap, homework, etc) until we get home in the eve.

I also need to be mindful of everything he is leaving for me.  He told me that he cried last night saying goodbye to one of his groups of friends. Tonight is his last night at work and he is going out after with the people there so there will be more emotion.

We already have rules in place as far as "fighting" (we plan on never ever having a fight LMAO) and about never going to bed with something unresolved.

I know we are going to amazing heart.gif

Add cinnamon rolls to the things that cause heartburn.

I wonder if it is sugar in general?!?!?!

I wanted to do a pre-k trip with K. My friend has taken wach of her boys on a solo trip to Denver ot the Children's museum, I saw Amber was doing something with Hannah etc. But, I didnt want to go crazy and be too over the top.

Im excited because our aquarium is having an overnight the friday before school starts. she and I are going to go do that ! they will have games, crafts, etc. Then you "camp" next to the tanks. the next morning we will meet Kyle anr Hys for breakfast and maybe a pedi :) I think it will be a memorable experience to mark her kindergarten.

Erin, it sounds like you have some good options worked out for getting K to school. It is so stressful until you know for sure that it is going to work. Your overnighter sounds like it will be really fun! I am sure she will love it.

When Kyle and I were talking about needing to sell our house to manage our $$, I was seriously considering renting two apartments right next to each other.  One for him and one for us.  lol. It would be kind of like his "office" or mancave downstairs.

LL, it could be the sugar, but it could also be the butter/fat in it that is giving you heartburn. Can you tell how you are carrying sox? Maybe baby is pushing your belly up.

It's probably Hep A.

I totally forgot about that, and just promised Hannah on the way home from her well-check that she wasn't going to have to get shots again ever.

Yeah, it was a lie to buy me time until she's 11, when she's easier to bribe.

I forgot we'll have to go back in February to get her Hep booster. Dang it.

We both refuse to ever have crappy relationships/marriages again.  This is for life this time :)
