Good morning!

What's going on in your world today?  How's that back to school business coming?

Morning!!!!

I'm at work, waiting for Joey to hear about the job from Monday and for my new laptop to get to my house LOL

I feel better thankfully, still congested but no longer have that "oh my god was I hit by truck" feeling.

My kids don't start school for a month and given that Quint and I each have custody of 1 kid starting school I'm thinking I am only responsible for Lucas which is mega easy since he does not need a new backpack or lunchbox and just got a ton of clothes for his birthday (all shorts but he'll be able to wear those at least a month) so he should not need much to start.

GM

I don't have much today. I've still got to work on this afghan. I didn't get as much done yesterday as I had hoped so I have to finish that part and, hopefully, finish another full section. This afternoon we're going to get ice cream. I'm putting off everything else until the afghan is done.

GM!  (or afternoon!)

Work work work here.  I'm on lunch break now.  I just cashed out my credit card points this morning for Kohls giftcards to buy the boys (and us if there is enough) new sneakers.  Other than some new socks and underwear, we should be all set for school.  Koda will need a couple pairs of pants late fall, but I'm not buying a lot to only have them get holes in the knees.  Kid is brutal on pants.

Joe didnt get the job he interviewed for Monday. :(

He still has the one that he took the drug test for but the other one was way better and was gonna start Monday. Now we wait for the drug test to comeback so they can give him a start date. Almost there, I just have to be patient (which I am soooooo not anymore)

I'm so glad you're starting to feel better.

I hope Joey hears asap.

That's great that you could get Kohl's giftcards.

I pulled a Visa (or MC) giftcard out of my wallet the other day at Target.

I didn't even realize it was there so I asked the cashier to try it.

It didn't work so I guess I've already used all that money.

I'll look it up later.

Aw, I should have read to the end.

Bummer.

He probably would have hated that job anyway.

Hi!

It's not morning anymore but the boys and I:

-went to CrossLink and sorted eyeglasses, sunglasses, and eyeglass cases for an hour

-went to the zoo to eat a $20 lunch that my kids barely touched.

-went to Aldi's and got in everyone's way with two kids that don't know how to stay out of everyone's way.

-went swimming with some friends at another friend's house.

I just went EVERYWHERE with my mom looking for a STOOPID "Sanford calligraphy pen 2.5mm med." from Henry's school supply list.

We went to Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Office Max, and Barnes & Noble. I had already looked at WalMart and Target.

We also went to the Dollar Tree and Kroger (for other stuff). I even asked the cashier at Kroger if they carried calligraphy pens. Nope.

So when I got home, I did a search online.

CVS has them online--a 4 (or 5)-pack for $6.99. I got a discount code and went ahead and ordered them.

The calligraphy pens that I did find--wrong brands, wrong sizes--were all way more expensive than that.

I need to schedule an appointment for E to have her vaccinations. I am putting it off and shouldn't be. Since she isn't going to kindergarten, she won't need them before school.

Robin, I am surprised they need a calligraphy pen. Is it for art?
