I'm u/l pics to fb of the experiments we tried today.

I wanted to do all balloon experiments but I didn't have some of the necessary materials--lemon juice or a funnel. Or thread or a spool.

Tomorrow morning, the boys and I are going to a place called CrossLink to sort prescription glasses and sunglasses as a mission project.

Crosslink is a ministry that collects medical supplies for missionaries going to other countries.

The kids aren't old enough to sort meds and stuff but my friend from church (who works at Crosslink) said they have tons of glasses to sort.

I thought we might go to the zoo afterward since we'll be close but I think I'd rather go swim at my friend's house.

I love ice cream.

I was thisclose to getting some for myself yesterday but I was on my way to the store with my list and my coupons, and I just couldn't spend the money I wanted to save on ice cream.

Boo.

Baskin Robbins is retiring five flavors this month. I think one of them was apple pie something or another. None of them were ones I can't live without. I didn't even know baskin robbins retired flavors.

I get mint chocolate chip ice cream 98.5% of the time when I go to Baskin-Robbins.

However, last summer and this summer they've had a special limited-time flavor called Oreo Outrageous that is HEAVENLY.

Rich chocolate ice cream with bits of oreos in it and a ribbon of the white stuff.

So yummy.

The other night, when I told him it was time to go to his bed, he said, "But I'm not ready yet."

i prefer our local place or cold stone.

i think a lot of it is that i'm not much of a fan of hard serve.
