alyssa you will have to report back on your trip to Michigan.  I've never been but heard it's beautiful.  A girl from my dept at work is there right now for a week.

with everything happening in the gulf I think more people are going to flock north!

I've finished another section of the afghan I'm working on. The pattern I'm using is annoying because it's not as accurate or nice as I'd like so I'm having to do a lot of adjusting. My brain is about fried from trying to get it figured out. And, of course, I saved the hardest part for last when I'm itching for the project to be done. I think it's time for a break. Hmm, I still need to go to the library. I guess that's break enough. But I need to not actually read the book I'm going to pick up until after I'm done with the afghan. I'm on a deadline.

My cat is driving me nuts. He's meowing whiny-like because some of my kids are outside and he's not.

On the up side, I got my book from the library. Lets see how long I can hold off reading it. If history is anything to go by, I'll be reading later today or tomorrow. I REALLY shouldn't until this afghan is done, but unread books are a powerful distraction for me.

Have you ever been curious about another person's business but don't ask because you don't want to pry? Sometimes I hate that about myself. Sometimes I'm dying to pry.

Then again, if procrastinate long enough, I'll have to get dinner started, which is an excellent excuse to procrastinate longer.

omg I made a gigantic error.

when shopping for a birthday present last week at Target I had Jake with me.  I saw a couple of things on clearance that I wanted to buy and put away to give him at xmas.  I tried to sneak them in the cart.  first mistake.

he saw the batman car.  he has harassed me endlessly about the freaking batman car.  I'm about ready to take it back or burn it.  I'm so tired of hearing about it.  why won't I just give it to him and let him have it, blah blah blah.

now he and kate are playing with his bathouse and again he needs that x-mas bat car right now.

disbelief

Bill wiped out our hard drive this weekend. Something happened to the desktop and that is the only thing he knows how to do, lol.

Which is fine-but IDK if he backed everything up again before he did this, and if he didn't, I lost some music in iTunes and I will be annoyed.

Plus I called him about all of this and he has not called me back. I mean, I know he is working, and who knows-maybe he is in a meeting or something, but still. I wanted to get my iPods all synced and whatnot this afternoon and now I can't.

I think I am just still annoyed about Target, lol.

Supa - you should be able to re-download anything you purchased in iTunes.  If it was music you imported, then it's gone.
