Dear Lord:

Please let my 3 children play nicely together.

Please let John and Jake play Wii without shouting for once.

Please let Kate stop throwing play food at John while he plays Wii.

That's all for now.

Thanks!

My kids each have a free donut coupon for Dunkin' Donuts.

They got them for participating in the library summer reading program.

We've never been to Dunkin' Donuts.

We always go to two other mom-n-pop donut shops that are closer to our house.

get yourself to Dunkin Donuts now.

I love those donuts and they love my mid-section right back.

One reason I must keep my distance.

My grandma called me this morning at 8:20 a.m.

I was awake but definitely still in the bed.

We left our grape jelly at her house when we went to visit, and she called to tell me that she was enjoying it with her breakfast.

I heart.gif my grandma.

Also the boys were on the bed with me, and they BOTH talked to her on the phone.

That's huge because Mark NEVER talks on the phone.

They heart.gif my grandma too.

Mark keeps asking me to play in his room with him.

I don't feel like it right now.

I need to empty and load the dishwasher.

I don't feel like it right now.

I need to take a shower and wash my hair.

You get the idea.

i adore dunkin donuts and definitely have my share of frequent flier miles there.biggrin

when i added up what dh and i spent there in an average month is when i went and bought the keurig.

sadly enough the $150 coffee machine paid for itself in one month of not visiting d&d, i am ashamed to say.

as far as can i concentrate on shopping with the kids in tow--it depends.

the carters store next to osh gosh has a lego table so they will do fine there.

i will let them bring their leapsters and hopefully that will help.

they super suck at the grocery store.

i can't believe how early you all start school? i feel like summer just started!

our first day is sept 10!

I might show you pictures of Jake's room just so I can continue to be motivated to get it done.

95% of the mess was created by my beautiful daughter (I think).  The other 5% I did but just emptying the remaining 2 bins.

There is a green tote that is FULL of hot wheel cars.  We have been collecting them since John was 3 so about 9 years.  At daycare (which is at a church) every Monday there is a group of older folks who come to play/listen to banjo, guitar music.  One old guy likes to pass out cars to a few of the little boys - they are always cheap, plastic versions of Hot Wheels.   He ran out a few weeks ago.   I keep thinking I need to go through that tote and load a bunch of our Hot Wheel cars into a bag to give to him to pass out.   I'm going to do it today.  I know my son will probably say "I already have this car" but I don't care I'm giving them to him so he can pass out to Jake and the other little boys.  That will get some of them out of my house!

Kris, Jake's room looks pretty much like our family room. I did manage to pick up a few things and vacuum. It is so crowded down there that it only takes one or two things to be out of place for all of it to come tumbling down. Grrr...

I am working on that now. Can't you tell?

Hello girls!

I am in a hotel room waiting for DH and Christopher to get back from the beach so we can head home.

We've had a lot of fun here on the beach but I am ready to go home.

I have been so stressed for the last six months, I am sooo happy to be back to NC.  I don't think I will ever live in DC area, it's too crazy for me.

It has been so nice to have DH home, I don't even want to think about him going back to the Philippines in a week cry

I have planned a lot of stuff after he leaves to keep myself from going crazy.

Like flying to NYC with Christopher to visit my sister.
