Glen just came in here to tell me he was going to Sports Authority.

We actually have a little money because he got paid Friday. I asked him not to spend all of our money at Sports Authority just because we have some.

It won't last two weeks if he does.

Anyway, he knows I have Bible study at 4:00. It's 3:00 now.

I hope he gets back in time.

Just about to go to my friends house for a quick little church thing. Bringing my Gavi boy.

We are going to the water park tomorrow and I can't wait! I LOVE the water park. My mom is coming too so I can run off and go on some of the big slides. Yipee. I hope the boys have fun. Doug hates the water park and refuses to go with me. I wish he would!

I took a nap, finished the living room (except for putting the folded clothes away), went to the grocery store, got quarters for laundry and have the first load in.

Now I'm gonna relax with my boy for a few while I wait for the laundry to be done.

Then I have to switch it, finish the kitchen, make meatballs and start a quick sauce for tomorrow's dinner (baked ziti).

I am going to be sound asleep when Joe gets here in 6 hours.

I cleaned a teenagers room! Wow, 2 crazy messy bedrooms in one weekend. I'm on a roll.

DH took the teenager school shopping - he had 30% off at JCP and while he was there they gave him a survey that will give us an addl 15% off + they gave him the 30% off coupon back so when they get home I'm going over there and will get 45% off!

now, if I just don't fall asleep before they get home!

Wow Kris you are on a roll. I didn't even pretend to go near the bedroom today. If I do Nikki will be sorry. It is on my list this week. It is disgusting but I am hoping Nikki will at least start picking up her stuff (it's mostly clothes) before I go in there to work on Lucas's stuff.

I need to get Lucas a boxspring for his bed and a bookcase for in there ASAP.

i am super excited that vbs is this week so i will have half a day for 5 days with one less kid. it will be nice to have a little less

to do.

i am also super excited b/c this should be the week target marks the clearance toys to 75% off. i have got the vast majority of my xmas shopping done at this sale the past 3 years and i am hoping to do that again this year.

the toy section gets reset twice per year.

once after xmas to make way for spring/summer and once the last week of july (historically atleast) to make way for xmas.

if you go to target say tomorrow and look you should find atleast a few endcaps and usually atleast one aisle with red sticker toys. they are probably 30-50% right now. the last week in july they mark all that stuff down to 75% off.

the toy section markdowns usually happen on thursdays so i would be willing to bet this thursday around 10-11am you will see the markdown team re pricing that section.

I have been scouting target out for those cheap toys. I may look tomorrow just in case. It seems like the target here is sometimes out of sync with the schedule. I have no idea what I will be getting but they did have polly pockets on clearance. I am making a "store" so I have a stash of toys ready for when I need them.
