1.) My 55yo uncle's 29yo wife is pregnant with identical twin GIRLS.  OMG!  FTR, he met her when she was a little girl (her father was my uncle's business partner) and he started dating her when she was in high school, so it will be interesting to see if he realizes how jacked up that is when he has girls of his own.

2.) Peepers is walking and I love it!  She also just started saying some new words - Maymay for Mason, bay-ba for baby, uh-bah for ball, ummo for Elmo, maaah for more (while she signs it), and nah-nah for nose.  She's still driving me bonkers, but I love this developmental stage!

3.) I was just telling John that I can't wait for Christmas because he was going to get me the telephoto lens for my camera...and he went on Amazon and ordered it for me!  He was feeling a little guilty that all he got me for our anniversary was a salad spinner, even though it was the ONLY thing I wanted, LOL.

It's a 55-250.  I don't really know what all that means, LOL.  I have a ridiculous amount of camera equipment for someone who is as photography-illiterate as I am!  Once John gets settled at his new job, I really want to take a DSLR class.  I (obviously) love taking pictures, but I know there is so much more I could be doing if I understood my camera better!

I have an external flash but haven't used it much because it takes several seconds to reset each time, so I can't shoot continuously in low light, and it's SO bright that if there is any light in the room, the pics are way overexposed.  I'm probably doing something wrong, LOL.  I need to try it more often.  I put a white handkerchief over it to diffuse the brightness, and that works a bit.

I also have a wireless shutter release remote that works well when I have the camera on a tripod, but I don't get a lot of opportunities to use it because Peepers doesn't sit still!

Like I said...a lot of camera equipment, and totally illiterate!
