Robin, one of the places i want to visit is Memphis. I am so curious about how it's changed since I lived there and actually liked it when I lived there. Granted I did not live in Memphis proper, but still went to places there. Is the Mall of Memphis still a place to go or is it run down now? I used to work there. Lots of things like that I am curious about.

The Mall of Memphis is COMPLETELY gone. It was leveled several years back.

I was at the Pink Palace with the kids the other day and a plaque at one of the exhibits said something about the Mall of Memphis. We had to laugh because there is no Mall of Memphis.

I'd love it if you came to visit me here.

I just checked the Amtrak rate for 1 adult and 2 kids from here to Colorado Springs.

$580.

Ihni if that's a decent price or not.

Of course it goes through Chicago.

Robin you might be able to fly for that price. It just depends on when you fly.

BTW, I used to love the Pink Palace Museum. I am trying to remember if it's there that there is an old fire truck. I used to date the guy whose grandfather owned that fire truck. Anyway, it's a neat place.
