Can they come stay at your house while I go to the store?

Pleeeeeease.

We're out of ketchup.

HOW CAN WE LIVE??

seriously, this house would cease to function without ketchup.

sadly I'm not kidding.

And no you can't bring your kids over.

I don't want the 3 that are already here.

I ordered pizza on the way home from work.  It was 1.5 hours for delivery or 35 minutes for pick up.  DH said he'd pick it up and I could go on home with the kids.  The kids cannot wait.  They have eaten carrots with ranch + yogurt + Kate is having a fruit bar.  Jake is asking for a fruit bar (and he doesn't even eat fruit bars).  No one is going to be hungry for pizza.  Well, no one except me.  And I'm going to have a fruity girl drink with my pizza too.  I guess if no one eats it for dinner that leaves more for lunch tomorrow!

ok, i'm going to try to explain this complicated bs.

in college, i worked at a restaurant. there was a guy who worked there, named J, who matt knew from junior college. he was really nice. then i went to work at the management office and only worked at the restaurant part time. during that time, M started working at the restaurant.

J was in his mid 20s and M was about 18. J got M preggo and they got married.

we were friends with them on and off for a while and then lost touch with them.

they got divorced a few months ago b/c M was having an affair.

now, M is posted pics with her and the guy she had an affair with all the time. it makes me want to barf and i want to defriend her.

idk. maybe it's just me but i just struggle with that.

I know how strongly you feel about that and understand why it bothers you.

I see no problem with defriending her if you arent really close anymore anyway.

Speaking of missing you Apies........

I want to take Lucas to the zoo before school starts (I want to drag Joe too because he has never been to the Bronx Zoo but I'm not sure if he'll be able to do it with a new job unless we go on a weekend)

Anyway is the Bronx Zoo too far for you to make a trip??? I was thinking of seeing if Di might want to venture out too.

April, drink some for me. I think I might have to buy some sort of girly beverage so I can have it on hand or else dh will drink it. He buys Bush beer. Gag! He actually likes better varieties, but for some reason decided that it's too expensive so buys the cheap crap instead. Maybe I should have a talk with him and tell him to forgo the savings.

Oh yay!!!!

I'm not sure when exactly, some time in August LOL

When do you start school?? I know the only plans I have in August right now is going to his brother's in PA the weekend of the 13th.  If Joe can't go then I may see if my sister wants to go with Jayden.  Let me know if there are any dates that don't work for you :)

There all kinds of delicious versions of Mike's around now but the newest one that I had is escaping me.

I may have to grab some non alcoholic beer just so I can feel like I'm having a good time LMAOb

I am being a lazy mom tonight. Dh is working. I am laying here in my bed with E next to me watching a dvd. Dang, that beer would be good now, or that Mike's LL was talking about.

April, are you going to denver proper? Dh sometimes has business out there and one of the things we are hoping to do this year is go with him when he makes a trip. I think we end up in colorado springs.

our plan is to return to highlands ranch, which is just south of denver (25 minutes south of downtown).

CS is a totally driveable 45 minutes though, so if you go out there while i'm there, you HAVE to let me know.  we will definitely have to get together!

I really want to go to Colorado. I have been various places in the US, but that is one area I have never been. I have been to the Denver airport, but that doesn't really count. I love looking at the mountains and the land when I have flown over it. I also like E to experience different places, and getting to meet you, April, would be awesome too!

I think Colorado is one of the most beautiful states and that's only seeing it from the interstate and truck stops.

now if I can just figure out how to have dh have a business trip to colorado arranged around a ms meet up there. Wonder if he and his business partner would be up for child care duty on their off time for all the moms? Now that would be something.
