Joe got a phone call about another job he applied for today.
He is gonna interview with them on Monday before he goes to the other place Tuesday. He is not sure which job he would rather have if it came down to choosing. One is closer as far as driving him. It will be nice if he actually has a choice though.
yay for possibly having his pick of jobs!
do you think sox might have a boston accent?
LMAO Joe is on the Rhode Island border his accent is all RI. I totally wonder how he/she will sound growing up learning to talk from me with my CT accent (if there is such a thing, Joe says there is LOL) and him with his wicked thick RI accent.
Mike's parents have very strong RI accents. His mom's is all RI and his dads is a weird mix of French Canadian long time RI residents.
My cats always spoke with a Rhode Island accent.
lmao
LMAO @ the cats
Every once in awhile Lucas drops an "r". I'm sure his father just loves that.
the really funny thing is that I really had to make sure I wasn't talking for the cats in front of my mil (because she might be offended, not because I'd look crazy talking for cats)

omg you're the only other person i know who has pets with accents.
oscar (my boston terrier) has a sort of confused accent - we can't really explain it.
My kids are so draining that I don't even feel like I was away from them last weekend. It was only 24 hours but still it was such a blissfully wonderful break.
so jake asked me if he could go to the county fair.
i asked if he had money (he burns through all the money he gets the minute he gets it)
he said no.
i said that he can't go tonight then but that if he wants to stay home tonight and be here while the little kids sleep i would pay him to babysit so dan & i could go out. (otherwise we pay another teenager to sit here while the kids sleep)
he asked if i would give him money and then he would just babysit for me "another time"
i said no and his response was "really mom? really?"
(insert heavy sigh & eyeroll)
my reply?
"Yes, really. You don't get money until you earn it"
and i'm sorry but $20 for 3 hours of staying home with sleeping siblings and watching tv ..... that's pretty effing good, don't you think??
1 - clean his own room 2. clean a bathroom once a week.
That is it.
he's doing those today because i asked him to.
Nikki are "fighting" because I "made" her help me with the kitchen since I ammaking dinner for her and her friend (they requested something special and we have been planning it for 2 days).
I asked her to try to start cleaning up the clothes in her room.
Sara and LL, lalalalala I don't know what you are talking about. My ds moves back in a week or two and I am dreading it. . We always have those type of arguments. Along the same lines, I really don't know when he plans on moving back in because he has not told us yet. All I know is he wants to use the van. My guess is he will wait until we have some plans made essential to the use of the van and decide he has to have the van NOW.
