my best idea has been to take my kids outside to do something kid focused every single day. every day we go to the park or we go swimming or we go visit animals at the local pet store/shelter. something that is only for them to enjoy.
it has made things happier around here.
i hadn't been great about it because i was so stressed between dr appointments, therapies, etc...... but i decided to try very hard to see things as a kid and i realized that trips to target & the grocery store are NOT outings to a kid - they're just boring.

That is a good idea. My kids are so much better-behaved when we go do kid-friendly stuff.
They hate going to the grocery store. And I hate taking them there.
I need to think about my best idea. Right now I am suppose to be getting E ready to go get her pictures taken. Of course, she is now on her second trip to the bathroom with the runs. I am trying to decide if I should risk it or reschedule for the second time because of illness. UGH!
Sara that's great that you found ways to keep them occupied and happy. I really need to spend time doing more at night when I get home from work but I am still so tired.
Best idea I had recently...........hmmm I have no idea does 5 months ago count as recently because really my best idea was to reply to Joe's email despite the fact that he lived 100 miles away

hmmm my best idea lately was to move the laptop back in the living room. IM on here more now since I can see the kids playing better or play with them.
It looks tacky though and I SHOULD move it back upstairs
Scott had a really bad cough last night. I was going to make an appt. even though it just started because its the weekend but Ive been up with Raymond for a little while now and havent heard him cough once.
I brought him in our bed at two and by three he was playing with my face. When he plays its time to go back to his crib. My other kids if they play it means there up, for him when he does that hes super quiet in his crib. I find it odd that it means I need to be alone to sleep.
It's a laptop? Why does it look tacky? Can't you just easily move it around??
Because the battery is dead so its constantly plugged in so theres a cord from the couch to my wall. I hate that when people come over but not enough to move it.

Ahhhh gotcha. That's how mine currently is but I keep it on a small ottoman and just push it to the side of my couch when I'm not using it so it is hidden by the couch.
