omg, dude, NOTHING!

i think my dream is to start a grammar elective for kids who know they are not good writers.  then we can spend the entire class working on grammar.

even the smart ones know NOTHING.  my SMARTEST kids can tell you the difference between your/you're but then can't apply it.

 

 



LMAO As a parent of a brand new high school graduate I can say I WISH they MADE them take a whole class senior year on grammar and that they had to pass it to graduate. (amd I do not have the best grammar so you know Nikki and her friend's grammar must be bad)

I can feel tiny flutters this week that I wasn't convinced was the baby until I had my u/s Monday and not only saw exactly where the baby is but felt it while it was moving on the screen.  I asked my midwife about feeling it so early and I guess my placenta is on the back of my uterus (it was on the front with Lucas) so it makes it easier to feel.

I cannot wait for Joe to be able to feel it heart.gif

you are correct he IS a tool, but has been decent lately. He does know about the baby and the whole conversation was very weird, first he lectured me like a parent, then he got pissed then he offered to hep in any way he could (um how about NO).

They have not met but it's gonna happenm one of these days. Especially once Joe lives here.  It's easier for Quint to stay away if Joe is only here for a day or two but when he is here 247 eventually he is gonna see us playing outside or come get Lucas and have no choice but to interact.

 



i'm glad he's acting ok with everything.  the dynamics there must be weird.

 


It is sooooo weird. Especially cuz I really don't like him LOL I just tolerate him because I have too. But Joe has been so good for my temper and teaching me to kill people with kindness that it makes it way easier to handle. We still have gay arguments (Quint and I) but they are usually resolved pretty fast without having to get ugly.

So I have no idea how I am going to fit another person in this tiny condo. It's a damn shame too because I love this place and it's location and don't want to move. It's kind of necessary though, especially with Nikki here (I expected her to be moving off to college in a few weeks *sigh*) Finding a bigger place is priority number 1 after he has been working for a few months.

I feel like we can wait until the spring since the baby can be in a pack n play for a little bit but I literally could not fit a pnp in here right now.

Well really she got all crazy about not being able to afford it and applying for loans and deciding she wasnt sure about wanting to be a teacher and a whole host of other things and turned down her college acceptance.

I wanted her to take a class at a community college but that is not gonna happen this semester. hopefully I can convince her by the spring, I think living with me and my future husband (no we aren't engaged but I think we will be soon, he said he wants to marry me after the baby is born so we can go on a real honeymoon and make baby number 2 LMAO) and Lucas and the new baby is gonna eat her and she is gonna want to get the hell out of here.

She does have plans to apply to Valley Forge where a few of her friend that are graduating this year are planning to go.

This computer sucks.

Joe ordered me a brand new Dell laptop (I have NEVER had a brand new laptop. I bought this one used and I have been rebuilding it for years) It's not gonna be here until at least next week though :(

I think (hope/pray) that when most of her friends start leaving in a month that it will hit her hard.

She has an open invitation to live with her father and she won't.  Joe won't tolerate the way she talks to me sometimes though so I anticipate some issues. He feels that she needs to be greatful that I love her enough to fully support her when I have no obligation to do so.  5 does not give me a penny for her nor does he give her any money.

ok, yet another reason why i want to punch 5 in his mouth. why would he not support her? he knows that it's the best case for her, so why wouldn't he help her , as her father????

re: laptop, we just gave up on my 2nd dell laptop. matt is going to use it for his backup work laptop. he got me a new toshiba as a surprise for my bday.
