matt and i are trying to go to a marriage conference next weekend and we're trying to figure out the details.
paying our sitter for 2 days is going to be expensive and my sister is 2.5 hours away. to get them up there after my sister gets off of work on friday and then back before we drive down to virginia (5 hours) is probably going to be a nightmare.
soooo, my other idea is to try to find a hotel in the va beach area that has a kids club or something that they can go to during the day for the conference (8-3) and then we can hangout the rest of the weekend as a family.
just thought someone might have some info about the va beach area or a hotel recommendation.
i thought about that, but i don't really want to spend the entire weekend with her and i'm thinking she's not going to want to go to hang out by herself sat night and sunday.
also, i'm not even sure about her availability next weekend b/c she works at wendy's too.
i'm searching and searching hotels, but having a really hard time finding places that have child care.

I do have to work in the morning but will be around all afternoon. We had a playdate scheduled that I wish I could take them to, but I don't have extra carseats. Not a big deal to cancel it at all though (I never tell Meghan about playdates until that morning <when I decide whether or not I'll have everything together enough to make it> LOL)
I can't promise the best wholesome entertainment because I have no idea how to entertain so many kids at once. But we have a Wii, movies, playroom, playground around the corner, etc.
Just let me know. I think I'm only about 15 minutes from your sister, right?
i really cannot see dumping my 2 nutcases on you when you already have your hands full! i really think that my sister and i will be able to figure something out.
if my sitter is available friday night, i'm leaning toward having her come friday night and then have my sister drive down saturday morning or something.

If things don't work out, definitely consider this an option. I wouldn't mind at all! If Abby ends up becoming a handful, the worst case scenario is pop in a movie and give them all ice pops! LOL
